  1. There goes any chance this being peaceful mission. Argos thinks as they enter the shanty, lured in by the screams. They are faced by monstrous, inhuman creature devouring sewer-people. It would be easy to rule it as a main culprit behind the disappearances, but no is not the time to make quick assumptions.

"Phoenix, get these people out of here. Serpent, do not let the creature escape. You are authorized to use force for self-defense." Argos says, bracing his riot shield and placing the flashlight to his tool belt. The situation is dangerous. This creature has no issues killing people. It might not be even sapient. They may need to bring it down. For these situations officers of law have cameras fitted to their uniform, for evidence for possible later consequences. That's why things need to be done by the book and someone needs to carry the responsibility.

"This is the WBSA! You have been witnessed to commit an illegal use of the Opperheimer chromosome granted power against regular humans. You will be arrested and brought to questioning. Seize your actions. Do you understand?" He declares with clear, loud voice.

"Well, at least we know it's not made of poop."
    Serpent said raising his shotgun.
"Something tells me not to get too close to that thing, keep a distance."
He took a few steps closer, shotgun still trained on the creature, ready to spring into action in a heartbeat if it came any closer.

  3. It was distracted momentarily by the sudden intrusion of three rather different looking individuals it wasn't used to seeing. A being clad in armor that seemed to be ripped out of a history book, a tall lizard like being, and a mundane man in riot gear that was shouting at it. Even though it was being shouted at by the man behind the clear shield, it's focus was entirely derived on the reptilian man, all but ignoring the one doing the shouting.

    @Wata
"Interesting...Oppenheimer...Genetic...Mutation...Gihehehehehe" it said, moving it's mass side to side as if trying to scope the lizard man out, "Food?...No...Experiment?...nyheheheheha! Potentially..." A skeletal appendage materialized from it's mass, and began to rub the bottom of what could have been considered it's chin. "Warm Blooded?...Cold? Mmmgh!...Hard to tell...Mehehehehe...one way...find out..." it stayed put, pondering about the lizard man, "Run tests...Yes...Discover...Potential..." And then a series of twisting squirming tendrils burst out from it's back, their ends barbed with sharp rotted teeth, their tips pointed and sharp. It produced a maddening laugh, as it's whole body shook and twitched violently, "GYAHHAHAHAHEHEHA! SLICE! RIP OPEN! SEE WHAT MAKES YOU TICK!" it exclaimed before opening it's maw and letting out a horrible howl.

    "Iimmediatelyregretallmydecisions!"
Serpent shouted in machine gun-speak and took a big leap back. He unleashed the shotgun as fast he could, LTL-shock rounds humming through the air in concert with shotguns blasts.

  5. "HOLY fucking shit..." Nightmare said, more with curiosity but with a healthy dose of shock at the scene before him and his men after they entered the rather quaint little shanty town the homeless had set up for themselves. After the rather loud officer had nicely confirmed for Nightmare, super officers of the WBSA were in fact here, facing off a quiet large mound of red anger, hate, and teeth. And it spoke, and spawned appendages from random spots on its body. Just what the hell did he come across? Why did it talk that way? He would expect someone with a lab coat and glasses to talk like that. "Everyone stay here, quiet, and out of sight, our search just became a recon ops boys." he grinned widely to himself. He was bound to profit from this somehow, he would just have to wait and see.

Night Dragoon sighed at his replacements making a mess out of the situation that he saw unfolding but it looks like they had the situation semi in control. So he stayed hidden and watched though he started making symbols with his hands to aid in his concentration. His shadow started stretching and wighling to reach all the said combatants and for the moment just to make contact.

Taking a seat, "Thank you for this opportunity." He pulls out his recorder and switches it on. "I hope you don't mind I don't want to miss anything and write the article wrong. First, when was this idea first conceived? When is the event starting and how long will it run?" During the questions he made note of the office, looking for any info he could use for later. Maybe this wouldn't be the guy he impersonated, he'll dig for more dirt and frame someone else.

The Colony was familiar with the Alien movies, having watched them after being told they were considered classics. Sure, they had always rooted for the Xenomorphs, but could appreciate human art rendering humans as victors. All in all, they were an acceptable cultural good, and enjoyable to watch.

They cocked her head in curiosity, not scared by this creature's appearance but more focused on it than on the man. "We..." Samsa looked at Lazarus, and corrected herself, using the singular again. "I have. I am unfamiliar with this man, though if he is peaceful, I do not mind his presence. Are you the reason for the disappearances? I mean no harm, and my motivation is merely curiosity."

She flinched slightly at the roar, looking around and skittering from left to the right for a bit before settling down again. "Is this a mate of yours?"

When streams of homeless people began streaming past him, the Warden had a feeling he located his target. Activating his cloaking field, the Warden began racing to the epicenter of the madness. Upon reaching the shanty town he quickly saw what was causing the commotion, a large, strange monstrous creature that was simply devouring the homeless whole.

And of course in the way as always was the WBSA, the poor fools trying to apprehend the man eating monster. Things like this don't need to be apprehended, they need to die.

Taking out his pistol and loading a clip of hollow point rounds into it, the Warden began taking careful shots at the beasts head while the other reptilian like boy began firing wildly, hoping his shots would go unnoticed as he tried to neutralize the beast.

"On it!" Phoenix replied, putting on a tone of bravado in a perhaps futile attempt to try hiding both her terror at seeing such a monstrous creature tearing people apart, and her frustration at being the glorified traffic warden that kept everyone else away from the fighting, if they weren't meant to be helping, like other WBSA agents if one of the more senior agents made the call for some back up.

Sure, Darkling was being asked to do something important, but with something that horrific on the loose.... She'd feel much better smiting it, even if she couldn't sense anything demonic about it. Then again, it had just threatened to tear open Serpent, and she didn't want any inaction on her part to cause someone to kick the bucket on the job. Especially not on her first day.

Deciding to mix both her role of getting civvies out of the way and helping out with the situation, Xezrin threw the Hellfire Bolt she had been using for light at the creature, not bothering to suppress the blasphemous screams of rage that came from the bolt as she hurled it towards the monster that seemed oddly scientific in speech patterns. Needless to say, if hearing the bloody blob of a living being roar didn't get people out of the way, a screaming bolt of Hellfire should do the trick.
