  1. The horrifying existentialism the other voice brought upon him was one he would rather never hear again, he was only just gaining a mind shackle on the *reality* he was in before he was spoken to again, it took a moment for him to even realise what words they where, though he could still here them vereberate in his slowly refilling head.
Upon looking up at the figure, he had to admit it to himself, this was by far the worst situation he had stumbled into, though for now he just had to think fast, not show fear, and hope he never have to go through the other experiance again, atleast not unguarded like this.
Looking back into whom he guessed was the leaders eyes, "well i see that you are fighting a war or battle or something" he started out, attempting to sound casual in his voice, to have his normal opportunist demeanor, "I am not just some other human, i am one of the changed ones, and i do believe my skills can help, you see." Daniel said as he changed shape into the one of the security guard, it was the first to come to mind, and the last other shape he had carried, therefor it hopefully should be the smoothest change, "you see, i can how you say, absorb people, take their shape, their memories their everything, and though i haven't attempted on magick forest creatues, i am sure the information i can bring out will be of great help to your course, whatever it is matters little to me, i help you, you dont kill me, and im sure we can be friends in short time" Daniel tried to sound as optemistic and carefree as he could to sell his speech, he dident really lie, for how could he lie right now, most of all he just wanted to survive.

After the events of the hunters, meeting the Raven and their conversations, Phoenix had a moment of stunned silence at the sight of the mountain before she said to her companion, arms folded "I'm sure you can impress upon them that I do need to see the queen, so I'm happy to get to the local fort and let you do the talking." With that said, Ellyaina made a few steps towards the mountain, making rather clear she wanted to get going sooner rather than later.

The Cultists didn't waste time screaming. They donned their Void Armor, activated their runes and worked to surround the creature. They began to unload their guns into the more vulnerable-looking bones from all sides while the Prophet fired a beam of Void Energy into the creature's head.

    ~Rin~
Rin looked at Lazarus. "Whenever your ready let us go hunt this druid." Rin walked over to the 'yellow brick' road

    ~Gorgon~
Gorgon looked Wizbang. "What do you have in mind?"
  5. Hallow giggles under her pumpkin, placing her hands on her back, calmly watching her gang members scurry around. She calmly moves around, looking at what they do before she waits for them to get ready. She is planning to finally grasp some of the power she needs, to finally gain the power so so sought. Her bone clad fingers clasp a bit as she can barely wait. She will not let anything stop her.

Mystic looks at the magical map, stroking her chin under her mask, thinking about it. To teleport across realms wasn't the best of ideas. It was more or less a 50/50 chance of failure due to the slight magical barriers between them. She mumbles to herself, unsure if she wants to take that risk, to rather stay and wait for Phoenix to return... However, she couldn't neccecarily count on that... and she needed someone atleast somewhat STABLE that was using demonic energies.

She walks into the middle of the room, beginning to murmor things, light appears from around her, rising up over her head like vines... she focuses her mind, attempting to with as much accuracy pinpoint Phoenixes location in her mind. She had done this before, specificly to visit the heavenly realm... however it was never an easy thing to do... she focused and instead decided to project the teleportation spell... aming to create a temporary portal to Phoenixes location. Safer that way.
  6. The absurdity of what was happening to the Crimson Creature plagued the beast's thoughts as it squared down with the giant snake like being. It was actually feeling pain. Pain. From the acidic breath of what should be by all logic a mere figment of it's mind. An illusionary trick. Something that wasn't real, couldn't be real. Then how was the corrosive substance it kept spitting out making the blood red monster feel a horrible painful sensation on it's gelatinous sanguinary form. He felt his body burning and reforming only to continue burning further. What was this madness. What was all of this?!?

"Gnnngh! You worm!" It growled angrily toward the gargantuan snake, "You...mere...manifestion...of madness! Trickery! DECIET! I....find...the one...placed me...this illusion, AND I WILL TEAR THEM APART! LIMB FROM LIIMMMB! Gyhehe! GYHAHA! GYAHAHAGAHAH!" It needed to find a way to rid itself of this false vision. With an idea quickly formulating in it's mind, it positioned itself near one of the dead trees and bellowed out a monsterous roar once more. The corrosive properties of the snake's breath proved to be potent enough to aid the Crimson creature in it's plan. If he was able to goad the snake into attacking it, the snake will weaken the base of the tree once it dodged the predicted attack. By then it was but a simple manner to push the collapsing tree in the right direction, being the large Serpent, hopefully crushing the thing and hopefully dispelling this bout with madness in the process.
  7. Virion dislodged the spear from the corpse of yet another police officer. These humans were little more than tinker toys at this point, only putting up token resistance in his little house of horrors. Pitfalls, spike traps, holograms and gas were all used to create an uplifting symphony of hectic chaos. However it did not last long and was relatively bland to say the least. If only SWAT came in... or something better. alas now Virion was dejected. After tossing the mangled corpse at the feet of another police officer, (a woman if he wasn't mistaken. It'd be too much effort to turn and look. Also very much still alive) he turned and headed back for his lair, all interest in the Bureau's force of arms deadened. 19 lives wasted so pitifully. A true shame...

When Mimic finished speaking the lords look at one another for a moment curious looks on their faces. Admittedly the sight was cute as the large animals seemed to be trying to comprehend what the supposed changeling had just said. "An interesting story changeling." One of the lords said though given their manner of communication it was impossible to tell who it was. "What does this mean for us?" Another voice asked the others as they then began speaking among themselves. "We will be a while changeling, you have done your part you may leave the den." The one that brought him here said. "I suggest you do so quickly before the topic of your crime is brought up."

After a short and somewhat terrifying conversation with the strange soldier's leader and absorbing someone that they soldiers had captured. Daniel was lead into the forest as a wider army behind him was gearing up for some kind of larger operation. Whatever he had managed to get himself involved in was far more than he could imagine. The soldiers walked through the forest in a formation around him watching the treeline and the surroundings, without the high tech helmets of the soldiers Daniel found his vision(or rather the vision of who he absorbed) very well adapted to the lack of light. He saw in black and white as the eyes sucked in as much light as possible ignoring color entirely. Despite the absence of color he was actually able to see quite well, the massive tree trunks extending into the air and small creatures scurrying about. In the distance he could hear a beast's roar and the screaming of a man, the soldiers seemed to be unphased.

The bullets coming from the cultists' mundane weapons did little to the skeletal creature other than go through the gaps of bone or the occasional hit splintering bones but not stopping the creature. It was about swipe the cultists with massive bony claws when a blast void energy engulfed it's head and part of it's upper rib cage. All consuming darkness rushed over it's form until it stood frozen with it's flame eyes extinguished without so much as an ember. The bones fell to the ground unceremoniously as whatever magic controlling it was overwhelmed by the energy, it seemed to look more intimidating than it was actually powerful. Perhaps it was a lookout or alarm of sorts?

And so Hallow's gang got themselves ready, all fifteen of them grabbing their weapons which consisted of basic, bullet firing shotguns, assault rifles and so on that had largely been abandoned by most conventional militaries. Two of them took out the Machine-gun with one of them carrying the actual weapon itself with the other guy being left with the thankless task of carrying the ammunition they had on hand for the Russian made weapon. As the rest of them grabbed bullets and magazines for their firearms of choice, some of the more experienced gangsters also shoved on some Kevlar vests that had no doubt been something they had earned through hard work for the gang. Once Hallow's followers had armed and armored themselves, they made their egress to their vehicles which was a collection of cheap cars and trucks, perfect for moving a large amount of people. And soon they would all be off towards their target, a spirit of jubilation among the members of the gang as they hit the gas.

The crimson abomination's plan went off well as the serpent creature responded to his roar with an stream of acid spewing from it's gullet hitting the massive tree truck. The acid ate through the wood at alarming speed and with Bloodbath's push fell to the ground with extreme force. The serpent roared as the tree landed on it, but not killing it as it pinned the creature under it's weight. The serpent thrashed and roared with primitive anger and desperation trying to get free. It was vulnerable in this state but it won't be for long.

Falling down the forest floor after a rather unfortunate encounter with the locals Gorgon braced for the impact to the ground and found Wizbang standing next to him. "Now my house was built." He counts on his fingers for a moment. "Two or three centuries ago give or take so I don’t expect it to be in the best condition but it would be much better than attempting to communicate with these savages again.” He reached into his robe and brought out a rolled up map. “Now I have no idea where we are but this map knows where my home is.” He said while unfurling it revealing it as a detailed albeit crudely drawn map of the forest. “A lot can change in a few centuries Metal man so this map is most likely outdated and we are indeed very lost but it’s not like we have anything better to do.” Wizbang said before he started walking.

After the long and tedious business of reading and signing legal forms to hand over the ownership of the bar the previous owner shook hands with Serpent and left wishing him luck. Most people in the world were somewhat used to strange superhumans thanks to the O gene emerging over half a century ago that man seemed to be one of them not being bothered by Serpent’s appearance for the most part. Now alone in a dusty bar he now owns Serpent’s phone began ringing. Upon answering it he was greeted by Morph’s tired and somewhat annoyed voice. “Agent Serpent, I was wondering if you would mind coming to the art gallery event at city hall later tonight. I’ve been told by command to go and ease tensions as we set up shop within the city and with your being framed I think it would be best for you to attend. You know stand there, look at art, and give something for the rich idiots to gawk at. There’s also free food and booze, what do you say?”

The sole survivor of the attempted raid sobbed quietly as the Alchemist walked away whatever fight she had in her was completely gone by this point as she was beyond hysterical. The officers probably thought they would find some young hacker locked up in an apartment when they followed the signal. Now all but one of them are dead, other than finishing off the survivor there wasn’t much else the Alchemist could do. More would be sent to investigate why the team went dark but once they found what’s left they would probably call in full WBSA agents for assistance. He wouldn’t want to fight them if he had the choice to avoid it, the WBSA doesn’t tolerate the murder of their operatives O gene or not.

After their little argument Mystic and Phoenix continued through the palace eventually reaching the outside. Going through the main gate of the parameter wall Phoenix saw a rather sad looking Raven in a cage look at her as she walked by. A Guard in a lookout tower pointed them in the right direction before entering the forest where they found a path. More of the same darkness from before with the only light being one made by magic. Small creatures scurry about and birds call in the darkness around them. Eventually they saw light in the darkness, an opening in the canopy revealing the rays of the weak sun and moon next to each other in the sky. Many of the massive black trees had fallen revealing a city built and woven into the branches in the canopy which now laid in ruin with many buildings on their sides or even upside down. There wasn't a soul in sight with just destroyed buildings debris all around the fallen trees. Not even any bodies as an unnatural silence took the area, exploring further they would find what could have been assumed to be a town center. Here they finally saw something that resembled life or at least a perverted mockery of it. Some kind of pitch black humanoid creature sat on top of a gazebo in the center of the structure of woven tree branches. It's back was to them as it seemed to be in a meditation pose with it's legs crossed.

Phoenix would feel the same wrong presence she felt with Morph's nephew, indescribable cold and just feeling wrong like it wasn't supposed to exist. Mystic would recognize it as the void or at least something of it. It seems to not have noticed them yet or was at least acting like it not breaking it's pose.

    @Vulpas @Valonox
Lazarus and Rin walked through the forest being guided by a path in the forest that seemed to be forming as they walked. Black trees soon surrounded them with the canopy blotting out the sun leaving them in darkness. Creatures moved in this darkness avoiding the pair and birds flew overhead somehow avoiding the massive trees in the total darkness. It was going to be a long walk to where A’bon intended the pair to go but at least it would be a safe one with the god of this realm’s blessing. Though it would be possible to step off the path if one chose to, there wasn’t anything or anyone that could stop them.

Seeing that his death was at the very least being delayed, he scurried out of the den. Making his way to the surface he remained close by. He did not shift his form, Mimic thought that to change now would spell certain death. Atleast this way he could live his possible last moments in relative peace. On the bright side those WBSA agents weren't chasing him, so he had that going for him.

When Serpent's phone rang, and he noticed it was Morph, he quickly went through in his mind every situation in the last few weeks that might have pissed off his angry boss.
Well, he already got beaten up earlier by Morph, maybe that had helped ease boss' mood.
Answering fearing the worst, he was pleasantly surprised.

"So, I would be an attraction for rich people to gawk at. I can handle that with free food and booze. Anything to keep the public from lynching me and my future business."
He was about to hang up before he remembered something.
"Wait, is this a formal attire kind of event?"

After the call was over, Serpent left his new bar and was now headed for WBSA offices. Guess he could wrap up some paperwork that was due before the gala. He was dressed fancy enough anyway and that suit wasn't going to be ready so soon.
