  1. Mystic looks after Morph as he leaves before she walks out the door after him, not even looking at the others in the room. However, as Morph comes down to the garage and enters his car, as he sits down and closes the door...

"You really think I need your computor to see what you are doing?"

Beside him, in the car... Sits Mystic, in the front seat actually. The white tome in her lap, open on a page. She was absolutely not there when he opened the door to start with. If He looks on the pages in the book he would see glowing text, flowing and moving, forming words and strange sentences... almost unreadable.

Hallow on the other hand grinned as she leaned back, finished with her meal as she listens to the scared words of the people around her. She loved how they reacted to the attack she did. MMMH, it was so satisfying. She stretches her arms, smiling as she stands, heading off and walks towards the toilets. She needs to test something... She slides into a stall in the empty toilets and stand there still. She closes her eyes.

She had read the tome for hours last night, and still only managed to get trough the first 2 pages. It was... alot of reading in it. Sometimes she was in the middle of a sentence when she realised the sentence was at the top of the page again... almost like if it was moving on its own. She remembered it too, the instructions, the information. She took a deep breath.

She spread her legs a bit, taking a more stable position as she channeled the spirtual energies inside of her, due to her powers was this not too unlike using her fire... She then breathes out and opens her eyes...

What she sees now is something interesting, to her eyes she sees the world as a strange burry "liquid" the air, the walls, the floor, everything. She can still see fine, it just seems... "fluid". She has phased out of the physical plane, making her incorporeal... She didn't obey to the physical law of gravity, force.. or even solidity. For anyone else she would look normal, except for a faint glow. She looked downwards and slowly began to sink down trough the floor... down into the ground. She phased trough it, looking around. Once again, it was like if she was in darker water. She saw quite clearly what happened above and around it, it was all just a little... "fluid". She looked upwards and hovered up, and floated up trough the ground up in an alleyway on the outside, looking around.

Nobody saw her... and yet, she feelt so incredibly powerfull, as she ended the trick, retaking physical form as she landed on the ground... She was gonna use this so much. She giggled to herself as she headed down towards the lower parts of the city, whisteling to herself.

With Morph handing a golden opportunity to go look around some rich folk's manor (Which she's put pretty highly on the list of places her family tome could go), Phoenix didn't waste a moment to come along with Morph, not bothering to take her gear out of the back of her bike. After all, surely a simple visit to pick up Morph's Nephew had to be worth taking the time ou- Perhaps not, given that the creepy woman she had just met was in the front seat of the car.

Still, it was most likely to be her only (legal) chance to ensure her tome was not in Craveloft manor, so Ellyaina got into the back of the vehicle, while she did her hardest to ignore the person in the front. Needless to say, she hoped that this event went alright, even if the creepy woman did her best to ruin the Hell Knight's experience. Or failing that, there was work she could do as part of the WBSA to help her block out the memory of whatever went down.
  3. "I understand mother." he nodded. He did, the family had to keep a good face for the public, one they kept for several generations, in order to be able to sweep their dirty dealings under the rug easily. Even if the twins weren't there, he didn't wish to deal with the people that would be there and he could think of a thousand other things he could be doing that would be more productive in the end. But that wasn't really his choice. Finishing his breakfeast, he stood up from the table. "I'll go make sure I'm at least presentable for the event, excuse me." He said before leaving the dining room and back to his room to put on light grey pen-strip suit for the day but leaving the knife sheath and gun holster in the drawer for now. He wouldn't really need those tonight, and his cane was still solid enough to break bones. He answered with a 'understood' message back at his 'talent' hunters with a smile, glad to hear such results within minutes. Guess not everyone was incompetent like the mooks from yesterday. That thought only lasted briefly when one of the butler's came to his door.

"Sir there appears to be someone at the front gates, again." he said, seeing how this was familiar to the situation last night. Johnathan rubbed his eyes out of frustration before sighing.

"Wave him in and have his car park in the garage or something. This dumbass better have something worthwhile to be showing up like this or the mound of murder jello is going to get something to eat for breakfast too." He scowled as he grabbed his coat to go see what this was about.

Samsa's face turned into a frown to reflect the hive mind's general mood. In the movies, stealing always seemed so easy. In their neighbourhood, stealing always was easy. Not here though, they quickly realised. What's worse, they couldn't weave or sew, so just making their own was out of the question.

It occurred to them, as they walked around the mall for a bit, that there was the possibility of a storage room, where they might try sneaking into. The Colony had Samsa's hands in her jacket's pockets as she came to a stop. Infiltrating it for clothes might be worth a try, but also fairly risky; there was zero opportunity to scout it out, and just waltzing inside as a group of spiders would attract too much attention.

Their feelings on the matter made Samsa sigh loudly as the simulacrum began searching for a suitable entrance to the relevant service areas.

Serpent walked into the central access room seeing how the authorities and government workers had stopped the place clean of any remnants of the shanty or the monster from yesterday. They had done it over night and pretty damn efficiently too leaving the place so clean you could eat off of it. No sign of the homeless either, probably all sent off into shelters with the rest scattered. However just before he could give up hope he saw someone just in the edge of the room lighting some candles. A small child looking at the massive being that he was the look on their face made it clear they were debating running or seeing what the Lizardman was giving out.

On his way to see the man allowed in by the guards Nightmare would run into Rico who for whatever reason wasnt wearing his hoodie anymore instead just a black t-shit which was probably under the hoodie. "Got those calls finished up but uh we have a bit of a problem." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "Turns out my uncle is coming to get me instead of my parents since the car's in the shop. Now normally other than a scolding and telling me to not run after or hang out with Alexis anymore because and I quote 'She's nothing more than just some street thug' this would work out just fine. But since you have that blood monster out back and god knows what other highly illegal shit you do here." He would pause as if trying to think of something to say. "Look what I'm getting at is that my uncle works for the WBSA and he's on his way here right now....." Rico was clearly nervous about what was going on at the moment not making eye contact with Nightmare. Alexis wasn't anywhere to be found either despite her usual pattern of following Rico she's nowhere to be seen.

Hallow would wander around the lower parts of the city going deeper and deeper into the otherwise gleaming city of Novus to see what lies beneath. In this case it was a particularly seedy intercity neighborhood complete with graffiti and police tape surrounding a large part of the area. Several body bags, abandoned vans, and even a truck with a sonic cannon mounted on back were laid about as a hazardous waste removal team was getting to work scrubbing down the street while police officers in riot gear kept watch along the parameter. Something had happened here the day before. Moving on from this Hallow would also notice something about some newly painted signs on the walls. It took the form of a burning jack o lantern face in bright green someone appeared to have been inspired by her work last night.

    @Casavay
Colony would walk for a short while before coming along the standard employees only door tucked away from the shop entrances. Upon seeing a man enter she could clearly see that what was beyond it was the storage room but unfortunately it had a camera watching it. The security of this mall was no joke so it seemed but perhaps simply thinking outside the box could be the solution.

Morph nearly jumped from his seat to see Mystic in the passenger seat hitting his head on the car's roof making him wince and sit down in the driver's seat rubbing the top of his head and mumbling something to himself. After this brief act of self control he sighed and once everyone was buckled in he drove out of the building's garage. To avoid the late morning traffic that was still going on he activated the hover function on the four door black sedan(which was the same model used by law enforcement just but stripped of all it's equipment for civilian and off duty use) causing it to lift off of the ground and the wheels to retract into the chassis. Once on the move going over traffic and passed buildings through specified routs marked by arrows placed onto the top of buildings the car made it's way out of the city. Skyscrapers and traffic were replaced by rolling fields and long empty roads as they entered the countryside. Morph's annoyed mood didn't change through out the 'drive' out of the city. Mumbling about whatever kind of mess his nephew had gotten into this time as if this was a recurring issue.

"Werner? My, I didn't realize we were on a first name basis already. This is all moving so fast." A distorted chuckle could be heard from over the phone. While Zacharias understood the gravity of the situation, he couldn't help but mess with the agent. It was just to easy with their lot. Always so serious and dickish. But this one was at least reasonable.

"And I would put a rain check on the troops old friend. Storm's brewing in the heart of Novus, and if we don't tread carefully we'll unleash the floodgates. I have some things to take care of now, but keep your phone on you, we'll be in touch. Stay vigilant Werner. Warden out." After ending the call Zach took a moment to look back over the city from the commanding view of his office. From up here it all seemed so peaceful... Beautiful even. Yet just a peek beneath showed the rot that grew in the city. And if this newest threat wasn't contained, they very well may lose it.

But before he could deal with any of that, he had a gallery to attend. Priorities and all. Making a final adjustment to his bow tie, he made a call over to his dear old butler.

"Have you had enough time to mentally prepare yourself sir?" Geoffrey's dry voice came over the phone, a hint of amusement in it.

"As much as I can be G."

"I know, these events hold nothing on facing flesh monsters in the sewers."

    "Right? So much more simple."

"Of course sir. If you're ready I have the car ready for you downstairs."

Giving a small sigh to himself, Zach made his way to the elevator. It would be fine. Just a gallery event. What could be the worst that could happen?

Hmm, maybe I should bring my suit.

    @GoreWrencha

OOC: Heading to the event. Let's see what kinda hell ensues

Arriving at the gate he was just about to hit the call button when the gate began to open. "Well that was easy." He said to himself as he pulled around the back of the main house towards the garage. Shutting down the jeep, Trent stepped out and placed his duffle bag of cash on the hood. He stood there just looking around, not sure what he should be doing. He brushed himself to knock away any wrinkles before checking his bow tie was straight. With everything that has happened in the last 24 hrs he was admittedly nervous. It was different when he was pretending to be someone else, but now he was himself. He pulled out a cigarette and smoked while he waited.

"Hey kiddo, easy. I may look like it but I mean you no harm."

Serpent said in a calm manner and put down his bags, face slightly twisting in pain as he did so. He knelt down on his good knee, opened one of his bags and offered a sandwich to the kid.

"I came here to help the folks who, well...used to, live here. You hungry?"

The kid probably lost friends or family in the attack, lighting candles in their memory. Serpent now remembered how he had acted when the homeless got rowdy. Memory of it made him feel like crap. Sometimes it was surprising how much he had changed, both physically and mentally, after the mutation. It was straining to give a damn about anyone when you're treated as a monster near daily basis.
  9. Mystic calmly turned the page, reading the tome as she sits beside Morph. The book she is reading radiates a calming light, possibly making Morph calm down a bit.
"No need to mumble, Morph... Both of us here don't mind hearing what you think about the current situation"
She included Elly in her statement, seemingly quite sure that she too wouldn't mind hearing the words of the annoyed officer.

Hallow watched the marks, she frowns slightly as she looks around before walking into an alley. She activates her collar button, morphing her clothes into her pumpkin attire before phasing again, floating down trough the ground and dissapearing from sight. She knows a thing or two about gangs... and they tend to spray their marks heavily around their territory. So she begins to travel underground, phased under the solid road, looking up at the walls, searching for places in the "downtown" area where the sprayed jack-o-lanterns clustered.
  10. Johnathan just sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose at the news. "Alright, just calm down. It's not the first time we had cops here for one reason or another." He told Rico, his own tone more tired than anything. "Smith, over here!" he called the butler that had informed him earlier about someone at the gates again.

"Sir?" he asked while at attention

"Have some of the guards get the guy in the garage and take him to one of our 'private' rooms towards the back and question the fuck he's doing here. Keep him in there and see about hiding his car in a storage slot. Get the dog trainers and have them lure our crimson gelatinous friend with dogs moved to the kennels to be hidden, no violence or anything and tell him he needs to just hide for a few minutes, he seems to love dogs." He told the butler, remembering seeing Bloodbath playing with the dogs earlier during breakfast. "If we got anything...."questionable" going on, make sure it's not observable and private alright?"

"Understood sir." Smith said with a bow before heading out to carry out the tasks.

"So, with that hopefully taken care of." He said, taking a deep breath for a moment. ".....I've been there before, the whole 'she's not good enough' spiel and disapproving attitude. Though then again my father tried to kill her and I doubt your uncle would do that, but in any case." He shrugged. "How about we just wait for your uncle at the front lobby area, keep talking till he gets here. Would you want someone to give Alexis a ride perhaps?" he offered, seeing Rico in a rather tough spot and having some deep sympathy for him right now as well.
