  1. Again as before, the cyborg loved to endlessly prattle on, at least he was consistent. Unbeknownst to the stranger the creature already had a run in with the lap dogs of the WBSA earlier. Though it wasn't the officers of the Bureau that earned the creatures wrath. "Bureau...nothing more...BLIND COWARDS...leading...blind" it stated with a growl, "no...interest...garnering...more attention...them...gyheh...Gyahahaha!...not yet" It shot out musclefiber like strands of itself to wrap around the half eaten cadavers it left behind and pulled them into it's form, waste not, want not. "Need...extracted strands...EXTRACTED...failing that...means of...extracting chromosome...need...experiments...critical importance...key...key to all...Oppenheimer chromosome...god partical...genetics...how can...not see..." it muttered out loud. Flashes of the armored one still scorched it's mind. A vision in it's head of the fully armored figure standing before it, suddenly the suit's color changed briefly to jet black. As brief as the sudden change was it's eyes widened in response to the shock. It began to shake in place, though it wasn't fear taking hold of it. It was...

    Anticipation

Like it was waiting for this moment for a long time, a dream it had over and over that it could finally make a reality. "Gihhihihi" it cackled, "soon...not yet...but SOON...yes...ssss...ooooon...nyhehehihihihaha" it wasn't even sure why it was so excited in the first place. "Get...what's...COMING...TO THEM! GYEHEHEHE! GAHAHAHAHAHA! SHOW THEM ALL!" After a maddening laugh it recognized it was now holding onto the locket from a boney skeletal hand. It gazed at the trinket, longingly, it desperately wanted to remember, and it silently cursed itself for forgetting. To forget the most important thing in his life. "H-how" it said out loud in a more somber tone, "How...how could I...just forget...how...after all...happened...I'm...so...sorry...I'm-"

Upon mentioning the name Craveloft it snapped back to reality. Quickly retracting it's locket back within itself, the monster's attention was back on the cyborg. the creature couldn't help but feel it has heard of that name before. It couldn't quite remember anything of importance or relevancy, but that feeling was still there regardless.

"Crave...loft..." the creature repeated the Cyborg, the stranger seemed interested in the family himself. This might end up being beneficial to the monster in the long run. It couldn't care less about being employed to a syndicate, but it could find use for a heavily armed cybernetically enhanced stranger. He's already proved his capabilities to the creature, he might prove useful to it's goals. "Craveloft...hmmm...acquire...chromosomes there?" It asked cocking it's head to the side, "this...Craveloft...where...go...to...find...them?"
  2. "If by supervisor you are referring to Officer Serpent; no, he is my partner and his comment isn't WBSA official statement. At this part of the investigation I can't tell whether it relates to the incident or not, but if you have anything you think might help us, feel free to tell me." The spider colony does relate to the earlier events very closely, but Argos has no intention to leak that to the press. The reporter already said what he feared, Serpent leaving not so pleasant image of the WBSA. Less the population likes them, more difficult it will be to do their jobs. Should they start to romanticize the vigilantes and rogue metahumans, expecting the publics help and support can be crossed over.

Then Argos public relationships improvement is interrupted by loud explosion ringing across the city. He lifts his radio to near his ear and eavesdrop in dispatcher informing regular police forces.
  3. Both The Alchemist and the Monster would cackled contentedly for a brief moment. The raport broken by the monsters questions, and the assassin would draw back physically, being denied his fix of laughter, and standing awkwardly while he heard it's garbled voice.

"Hmm. Crave-a-loft. More like Crave-a-lot hehehe. Could be a kiddy's cereal. Add uranium for an excellent boost of flavor AND RADIATION SICKNESS HEHEhaHEHAhEhaahaa." He would devolve into a quick fit of laughter for a brief moment. All sense of sanity was lost for but the briefest of moments. After a second or two of deranged hysterics, Virion would go silent and remain still. Then all of a sudden resume his straight and proper posture, one arm folded behind his back, the other beating on his chest.

"Ahem ahem. Forgive me. Where are my manners? That happens you know? Sorry you had to see. Perhaps you were unaware but I can be a little... volatile. Now then, to the point. Craveloft resides in a mansion, in the north if my memory serves me correctly. If I'm not mistaken, he resides in that dark foreboding castle up on a hill or something. You know, the cliche evil villain type of the modern era type house? The well known man in the black suit, slicked back hair, petting his evil cat. Colonel Capitalism at its finest. Pfft what do you know you're a mass of sentient flesh. As for extracting Chromosomes, any fine state of the art medical facility more than likely has the equipment we require. So does a medical research facility. WBSA definitely has them. Craveloft, doubtful, but maybe magic works? I was a medical biologist back in my day, so perhaps I can....shit..... hehe... hehahhaa!"

He would place his hands of his knees as he burst into another fit of laughter.

"AHaha I need to fucking murder something!!"

He would go static once again. Then his arms would dangle down as he stooped over.

"Shall we go my fleshy friend? Anymore standing around aimlessly and I might pop a gasket or whatever I put in this suit!"

He's snap around. Back straight and hands resumed their post behind his back once more. Without waiting for a reply he would behind strolling calmly off. The monster behind him.
  4. The stranger referred to it as his "fleshy friend". Clearly the man was far too trusting. It seems that he had a few screws loose of his own, like a rabid dog that was satiated by murder. But this ones mental state was of no concern to it. The stranger still proved to be useful, and would be instrumental in leading it to Craveloft manor. But the man's method of travel would prove to be time consuming, not to mention making them easily susceptible to interception from WBSA agents, vigilantes, or whoever else would be dumb enough to stand in their path. It growled disapprovingly as it watched him continue to walk further. "Gggrrgh! Don't be...shortsighted...need...travel faster...then...foot" Luckily for them, they just so happened to have a few of the gang's vans that weren't completely wrecked by the fighting. They would prove to be serviceable.

    "Take...vans...gihihi...these...PARASITES...don't need...anymore..."

Once Rin got home she parked her Camero in the Garage, shut the garage door grabbed her portion of the money and her equipment went inside to her room put her gear in a lockbox and the money in a safe then she would take off her clothes to her underwear, head to the living room and meet her cat named Salem. "How you doing girl keeping this house safe." The cat replied with a meow, in Rins head she heard. "Absolutely quiet ma'm today killed a mouse though I put him in the trash then observed the home for potential enemies, none today but your Magical presence was heavy today did you take money from the mortals again?" Rin looked at the cat took a seat on her couch and turned on the TV and went onto Netflix. "Of course I did and gave it to children without parents kept some for myself for a new weapon." Salem meowed again and filled words in Rins mind. "Didn't you have work today?" Rin happily replied. "Yep my boss gave me day off with full play because he wanted the new trainees to get some experience so I guess this day went all swimmingly in my opinion do you think I should order some food or make us some tonight?" Salem replied. "I want some salmon tonight we had take out last night." Rin laughed then shook her head. "Of course you want fish I guess I should make some food." Rin picked a show and went to the kitchen and made some dinner...

The Warden was having a hard time figuring out whether he was a lucky son of a bitch, or damned by whatever higher power seemed to enjoy dicking around with him. On one hand, he had found his prey, meaning he wouldn't waste weeks in hunting the creature down. On the other hand, he was in front of two of the most dangerous Meta's in Novus. He didn't know what that pile of flesh was called, but it made a large, gory mark on this city. And the Alchemist was but a rumor even to him, but if his reputation was true, then he could be dead in the next few seconds.

Plant a tracker perhaps? No, neither seems simple minded enough to not notice that... Where are the fucking WBSA when you need them!? (Cut to shot of WBSA sitting around their burnt out car)

However as the Warden began listening in on the conversation of the two Meta's, even more valuable information was being brought to the table by the rambling murderers. The Craveloft Syndicate was of particular interest to him. He had heard trace rumors of the organization, but nothing concrete.

And these two could take him right to the heart of it.

Ensuring his cloaking field was stable, the Warden waited to see which van would be taken. Either he was about to crack open the criminal underworld, or he was going to die a horrifyingly painful death.

Pretty average work day all in all.

The act of extreme vandalism which could easily be mistaken for a terrorist attack was quick and terrifying causing a panic as the green fire lit up the night. Of course it was only on the surface of the building to it was at no risk of causing a collapse but it was also in a busy part of town so soon the police and fire department were dispatched immediately as she could look behind and see their vehicles moving towards the building. Though she was too fast for the police to bother perusing and they settled for trying to contain the pandemonium. She sped across the streets dodging oncoming traffic and going around slower vehicles until she finally made it out of the city and into the countryside.

The men followed the Prophet home obediently as sirens echoed in the distance, a lot more than usual. Something was happening somewhere in the city and it was big. None the less the trip back was uneventful and they all huddled into the Prophet's home.

As Rin left the room the TV would bare as it was on the news channel. "This just in from Downtown Novus. A sudden explosion has left the Novus Central Bank building burning with the flames taking the shape of a jack o lantern. The green flames seemed to have appeared out of nowhere fire fighters and investigators are arriving on the scene now." The camera man switched view from the reporter to the building with it's front covered in green flames forming the smiling pumpkin.

    @kanila
The Reporter sped off in the direction of the explosion to be greeted with quite the sight. The main side of the building had a giant green jack o lantern made of fire on it's side. It was the exact same design seen on the side of the police car from earlier, a perfect copy just larger and still on fire. Other reporters and panicked people took up the streets as hovering firefighter vehicles began work to sedate the flames and police officers tried to keep things from getting too chaotic. Over all a very confusing scene for someone to stumble upon.

Rico thanked Nightmare and made for the room that had been prepared for him saying he'll see him in the morning. Alexis disappeared into the shadows again snickering, she clearly had no intention of going to the room prepared for her. The strange couple's antics aside things would most likely go smoothly through the night as they didn't seem to be legitimately violent towards one another. Meanwhile on the outside of the estate a beat up van arrived at the parameter. It was easy enough to find considering how it dominates the surrounding landscape with it's large parameter walls but getting in without being spotted was another matter. Especially since a security camera was already recording them and presumably someone was being sent to ask them their business. Violence was not the best way to greet a powerful crime family so perhaps they could find a way to get a meeting. Meanwhile the warden was hidden in the countryside observing the situation.
(Nightmare has been informed about the Van)

    @Maleth @GoreWrencha @Wata
After the reporter headed off Argos would listen in on the dispatch and quickly found out what had happened. Somehow the Novus central bank had a jack o lantern in the exact same design as the one on the side of the car door made of green flames. Not exactly a coincidence most would think, however their time for police work was over and a car with WBSA symbols arrived and the driver told them the trio to get in. A short and awkward ride later and they made it to the WBSA building. "Morph is going to have a word with you." The driver said before leaving the trio. Another awkward journey to Morph's office and they were sat down in front of his desk. The man himself was clearly less than happy about what he had been briefed on.
(Yes you passed by the bank)

"Which one of you wants to explain to me why not only did you somehow manage to loose a giant flaming gelatinous monster in the sewers, threaten to beat up a group of homeless people, let several other possible rouge meta humans escape without questioning, and not to mention leave an expensive agency vehicle unlocked in the middle of a shady alleyway with only police tape to protect it from anyone that walks by and decides to damage agency property?!" He said with a good dose of unadulterated anger and annoyance directed at the trio.

  8. What remained of the van rolled up to Craveloft manner. A rather ostentatious domain for an alleged estate of a crime family. Though it held no knowledge on how the criminal underworld worked, perhaps this was just standard housing to them for all it knew. From its position in the back of the van it would open the door and seep itself into a pool of red liquid. Keeping a small concentration intact to encapsulate the silver locket in for easier transportation of the trinket. It would seep over the perimeter walls and head up toward the entrance of the mansion, attempting to keep itself low to the floor and unseen as the bloody pool slinked it's way to the door.

Opting for informing the residents inside of it's presence, a mass of sanguine red rose up from the puddle and rang the door bell to the mansion proper before being swiftly retracted back. It wanted to have a little "talk" with this Craveloft individual. They might possibly have information invaluable to it. Information such as a means of retrieving Oppenheimer chromosomes for it. Or they could possibly even be in possession of Chromosomes already that it could "borrow" for it's own ends. In any regard, a "polite conversation" in which it receives what it came here for wouldn't have been to much to ask for. For Craveloft's sake, this detour better have been worth it.
  9. With his two guests resting, or at least he thinks they were, and dress in a more comfortable white cotton shirt and a pair of black slacks, Johnathan was back in his room sitting at his desk doing possibly the only hobby that wasn't criminal in nature. With paintbrush in one hand and a primed insect like miniature in the other, he was painting a set of BattleMace models. It was quiet and relaxing for him, a way to unwind without causing more trouble in the city. That was until there was a knock at his door.

"Sir, there's seems to be some sort of...van outside the gates and..." before the butler could finish the door bell for the front door rang. Giving an irritated sigh, the Craveloft son put down what he was doing on the paper covered desk before grabbing his coat.

"I'll deal with it." he said in a grumble. Making sure to strap on his holster and gun, he headed to answer the front door, some guards already walking in step with him. There wasn't a point to use his illusioned form, if someone is here, they know who lives here. At least they should, or they were desperate door to door salesmen. He could only be glad his mother and father were gone for the night doing only god knows what rather than be here at home. Finally getting at the front door and opening it, he was shocked to see the red mound from the sewers standing there on his front porch like he called him over or something. The other two guards of course flinched and reached for their guns, only for Johnathan to raise a hand for them to stop.

"Well, I certainly didn't expect to be seeing you again oh so soon." Johnathan said slyly with a grin, thinking he just got a new chance to get this thing on his payroll, or whatever it would take as payment. He doubted the thing saw him down in the sewer, so this was a good chance to see how it would react when it finds out it was him that help it escape by distracting everyone else. "Guess your little escapade down in the sewers didn't pan out how you wanted to huh?" he asked.
  10. "Again?..." it asked the man, his response to it's presence catching the beast off guard. It rose up from its puddle, looking directly at the supposed Craveloft, catching notice of the man's eyepatch over his right eye. Was he really expecting to see the crimson creature in front of him. What the man with the eye patch said next however cleared everything up. "Sewers?!?" It growled angrily, moving closer to the man, it loomed over him, looking down toward his one eye. "You...there...as well?!?" It roared, all semblance of diplomacy now lost to the now enraged beast, "If...went...destroy me...nihihihihi!...You'll find...I'M NOT SO EASILY KILLED!"

Twisting tendrils erupted from it's back, multiple heads began to take shape on its form, their maws snapping viciously at the air. It growled once more out of rage, it slowly retracted the tendrils back into it's body as it forcibly calmed itself. Whatever use this man had would die with him if it killed him now. The heads however were still continuing to snap their mouths in the air threateningly."Oppenheimer...chromosomes...you...acquire..."

    "Give...them...to...me..."
