@BuriasDempsey The Xenomorph continued to grin as Nightmare introduced them self. "I'm Alexis, nice to meet you Nightmare." She said as she turned her eyeless head back towards the way they had come from. "A shame it sounds like the ones from earlier are going to be having a bit of fun." She managed to shrug from her quadrupedal stance. "You already proved to be fun though so I guess I'll leave them alone." She said looking at Nightmare clearly to ready to start moving even seeming a bit anxious. Perhaps she knew something he didn't? @Casavay @kanila @Wincent The spiders would scurry along carrying their assembled items deeper into the alleyway as they made their way home. The same could be said for the pale woman as she rode along seemingly ignoring the strange sight, then again given her life she may have seen stranger. The reporter would remain untouched by the horde of spiders as they made their escape into the alley and once all the spiders had left the hatch the hooded boy would speak. "I hope that showed you why you shouldn't go down there. Anyways I have things to do so see ya." The boy let go of the wall and fell to the ground landing through the hatch and disappearing into the darkness. The distinct sound of stone cracking and quick footsteps made it clear he made it all the way down with a bit of force and managed to keep going. @Maleth @GoreWrencha @Wata @Keidivh @TechCaptain Serpent's words seemed to only agitate the mob further as they moved forward clearly ready to start a fight. Though when Argos started talking some of them managed to listen and started to lower their weapons but some of the more brash would continue forward anyways. Most notably was a taller boy in a hoodie and jeans carrying a cane that came running down the tunnel. "Out of the way dumbasses!" He shouted as he pushed through the crowd eventually running straight into Serpent knocking them both over. A feat that a normal human would find impossible. "Uhh sorry man..." The boy quickly picked himself up and offered the lizardman a hand as the crowd was dumb struck by what they just witnessed. The boy's cane had flown off a feet feet in front of the collision but he appeared to be doing just fine without it. @Vulpas Lazarus would check his weapons and besides having a disgusting coating of god knows what they seemed to be functional. He would continue to wander until he came across a hatch and made his way to the surface still covered in sewage for the most part. @GobMaw_HellSmasha As the monster made it's way into the hovel it would catch of the sun high in the sky. It was midday at this point and yet there were so few people in this part of the town. Politicians say all the poor people make the city look bad so the police 'relocated' them to crowded shelters. The ones in the sewers must have been forced into the underground to avoid the relocation. It might not have been the best of living spaces but at least they were free down there. @Schalli Vasco quickly replied to Gabriel "With two supers within the group.... I would rather not miss out upon an opportunity to have two of the empowered join the ranks than let the WBSA take such an fine stroke of luck from my hands, so it would be preferable if you could talk them down and perhaps let me give them an offer they can't refuse." "And if you need equipment to aid in your task, you may have five thousand up front as an advance fee." With that said, one of the bodyguards reached under their seat and produced a briefcase, popping open the catches to show that yes, the 5k advanced fee was a reality. "So, do we have a deal, or not?" @Valonox Soon the group making fun of the frumpy woman vanished, no thanks to the appearance of the manager who then went back inside. With that done, soon the cook would pass the meal of the waiting woman to Rin, with a note from Tom on the wooden plate that held the bowl which read: " Once you're done with this order, feel free to take the rest of the day off, got a few new hires that need to get used to working here without support." @Azathoth The Prophet would sift through the usual nonsense of the internet and fake ads until he came across a promising location. A Mystic's one stop shop in downtown Novus, the stuff they sold was just worthless crap but they seemed to have honest to god(or gods in his case) paranormal activity going on. Whispering coming from nowhere, items going missing, lights going off inexplicably the works. Of course the exact reasons for the activity were unknown to the current owners but the founder of the shop had gone mad a few years back which makes it even more promising. It's called "The Raven's Den". @Lord_Zial_Ghoul (Need you to write your intro before I can do anything)
Before Serpent had time to properly determine who was approaching them, he got shoved on his ass. Eyes wide in confusion he just sat there for a moment. "What just-" he shifted his focus to the boy who was now offering a helping hand. After a brief moment of doubt he gripped the boys hand and with his help stood up. "You've been eating your vegetables. Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Serpent eyed the boy with suspicion, rubbing the back of his neck.
The Prophet grinned. He had a lead. It wasn't much better, but it was a bit better than what he had beforehand. He went to his refrigerator, took out a soda and sipped it absent mindedly. Then the put his robes and hood back on, hiding his face in black tatters, and dashed into the streets, sticking to the shadows and trying to avoid everyone around him as much as possible. He utilized the gifts of the Lord of Flesh and Thought to hide himself. On the way to the Raven's Den, he contemplated on what his Master had planned. Why did he demand a theocratic rule of Novus, a clergy that praised all of the Outsiders as a pantheon? The Outsiders themselves were loosely organized, if at all, and some had goals contradictory to others. Wouldn't it be better to build a faith simply around his Master alone? But it was not his place to know the mind of a God, so he stopped thinking about it eventually.
"Uh sure.... I'm Rico I came down here looking for someone." The kid said as he scratched the back of his hooded head nervously. He was quite tall actually now that Serpent got a good look at him at least six feet tall probably more. He also seemed to be out of shape too but nothing to really write home about. The kid shook his head as he realized he was missing something. "Did anyone see where my cane went?" He asked a little more nervously as he looked around for it clearly becoming anxious without the item.
MIrgina drives out to her old mansion and parks the bike in the garage. She smiles as she opens the trunk taking out the loot, haunting it to her "tinker table" and begins to salvage what she can and needs from the things that won't be so sellable. She nods as she looks trough the tech she has "Yeeees, yes or course. This will be excellent" She mutters as she begins to work, putting the shiny and expencive things to the side. She has a buyer on the "Dark market" that likes these kinds of things. And she has something she herself is planning to obtain. Either trough trade or "other means"
The Crimson creature slithered his way deeper into the hovel it found itself in. Keeping itself away from any potential witnesses. Now that it realized it was being hunted by a currently unknown number of foes, it had to avoid such brazen actions until it can properly asses the threats. And more importantly, discover how to dispose of them. It currently knew of three going after it, though it deduced that there was more then them alone. A large reptilian looking man, it assumed a mutation from the Oppeheimer chromosome caused such an existence as that one. That one would prove to be an interesting test subject, granted he can take the over grown lizard alive. One of them, in full knight armor, wielded hellish flames that acted like no other fire it has come across. And then there was a seemingly mundane man with riot gear. He identified himself as WBSA. An acronym that seemed strangely...familiar to it. The term enraged it, as if it understood what it meant, but was unable to remember why. Like it had the answers somewhere in it's mind, but was unable to reach them. "Ignorant...fools..." It began to shake and convulse as it began to be lost in thought, "Ignoring...FACTS...in front...them...Idiots! IDIOTS! IDIOTS!IDIOTS!IDIOTS!IDIOTS!IDIOTS!IDIOTS!" It began giggling uncontrollably as it began to claw at itself, "but now...change...upon them...gihihihihiheha...no choice...Face facts...nyhehehe...or...be lost...HA!hahahaha! THE BLIND SHALL NOW FINALLY SEE WITH THEIR OWN EYES!" It suddenly stopped clawing at itself, retracting it's appendages into it's form. It retrieved the silver locket from within itself. The simple action of looking at the trinket seemed to have calmed it down, even if it didn't realize why. "I shall tear down their façade they have built up, and show them...the reality...they refuse to accept." It continued gazing at the silver trinket. It has done this many times before. It realizes simply staring at the locket will not miraculously grant it the knowledge it seeks. But it continued to try, regardless of how futile it may be.
Before he could even respond the boy was gone. Climbing out of the dumpster and looking down the hatch, "Nope not going down there!" He quickly left the alley and headed towards the police station. This day was turning to shit! Maybe he could salvage the day by finishing the disappearance story, and the police station would be the next clue to the puzzle. (OOC: I know it's looking like I'm a vigilante but this actually is working out great to point him down the villain path! Can't catch a break being legit, might as well steal!)
Rin reads the note then puts it in her pocket and goes over to the lady waiting for her food she puts the Ramen on the table. "Sorry for the wait here is you Shio Ramen Subarashī." Rin bows and walks away from the women clocks out of her cashier. Then walked to the back put her apron on the rack clocked out and got into her a 1969 Chevy Camaro and wanted to stake out some banks that she could hit some time in the future.
After gathering his samples the Warden simply watched the ongoing fiasco the WBSA had gotten themselves in. All in all, it was rather amusing to see them being given such a hard time by a group of homeless blokes. Maybe it dragged them down a bit to earth, showed that people didn't care to put their fates in the hands of Meta's. Before anything could escalate further, an unexpected boy disrupted the event, bowling over the masses and knocking the reptile flat on his ass. "Heh, not bad kid." The armored vigilante muttered to himself as the cane slid over to him, coming to a stop beneath his boot. Seemlessly he made his way through the crowd, handing the cane back to the newcomer. "You got a helluva charge kid, takes a lot to knock a Meta flat on his ass, trust me, I know." After handing the cane back over he carefully eyed the WBSA agents, ensuring none of them would take any hostile actions. They may have similar goals, but chances are they saw him as just another criminal. But they needed to know about this Nightmare and his xenos friend. "So, mind telling me who's worth charging through a murder scene and angry mob to see? Hot date?" He asked with an uncharacteristic chuckle from an otherwise intimidating looking soldier.
As he made his way his stomach growled, causing him to stop and reconsider his current course. Hmm maybe some lunch before talking with the cops would be best. He looked around the area and noticed a restaurant called Dragon Ramen, he shrugged and decided it was worth a shot. He noticed that business was slow, only one customer appeared to be inside. Stepping up to the counter, "First time in here, I guess I'll have today's special." He handed the cashier the money for the meal and took a seat at a table near the only patron and started looking through the pictures he had taken of the spiders and the items they had drug along.
