No, it's not terribly original but I am working off of stuff I wrote years ago so there's room for improvement. And I must afmit my knowledge of the ad mech doesn't go much farther than the Dawn of War series and Space Marine. Relic put in Enginseers as IG builders so I figured they were fairly important people but if you have a grandee title for yourself in mind I would consider it. There is much about 40K lore I don't know so I alwYs seek to learn more from others. One readon I'm here on the site.
And I would fully expect an enginseer to habe a few servitors with him. Reload his gund, heal his wounds, make him sandwiches etc.
Whenever we're ready to go do I have permission to make a squad list of Armsmen that accompany me of standard NPCs? I want to see their portraits fill with red "X"s
Greetings! A friend and I are considering on signing up assuming we're still able. That said, we wondering if you were alright with more Chaos Marines.
Is there still room for another space marine in this RP? If so I would be interested (also, are we allowed to use our own chapters? both cannon and homebrew or do they have to be part of your chapter?)
Yes, more space marines are welcome thoufh I'd prefer loyalist over chaos at this point. Homebrew chapters are fine so long as there's some sort of background for the guys.
Well then allow me to just pop this character sheet in here Name: Kaelo Uhasi Age: 400 standard terran years Gender: Male Appearance: Power armour: Predominantly red with a yellow/gold-like colour on the pauldrons and knee pads along with the imperial aquila on his chest. Kaelo has upon his back an assault marine jump pack adorned with heraldry of his chapter and inscribed upon it the words "His wrath falls from the heavens" As Kaelo is a part of the Burning fists chapter his pauldrons have imprinted upon them a fist surrounded by flames. Beneath his suit Kaelo hides a pale skinned body, his skin covered with numerous battle scars, a testament to his experience as a marine. His eyes are a dark green colour and upon his head he wears a shoulder-length mane of black hair which is usually tied back as to prevent it from getting in the way of combat. Despite his age Kaelo's features are surprisingly soft for a marine, he does not look as rugged and weary as most marines which leads many to mistake him for a simple initiate of his chapter rather than a battle-hardened captain. Position: Captain of the fourth Company of the Burning Fists space marine chapter Weapons: - Twin astartes-pattern power swords (Dubbed "Vigilance" and "Wrath") - Wrist-mounted storm bolter (worn on the right wrist) - 3x Melta-bomb - 3x frag grenade Gear: - Artificer armour - Iron halo - Jump pack - Orbital strike beacon (In case the Burning fist's battle barge the "Prayer of fire" needs to be signalled to aid in the destruction of the hulk) Biography: Originally from a colony on the planet Fayama in the Luminaire system Kaelo Uhasi was recruited by the burning fists alongside his Brother Veneriah Uhasi in his teenage years and has served the chapter faithfully since then. Considered an oddity among his brother due to his dislike of defensive tactics (a strategy favoured by most sons of Dorn) instead striking the enemy with lighting-fast assaults and moving on before his foes can retaliate. It is because of this strange and unorthodox way of waging war (in the eyes of his brother and Chapter master Veneriah Uhasi) that Kaelo Uhasi was given command of the chapters fourth company. Additionally, Kaelo is one of Two known astartes in the chapter to be afflicted with what the Burning fists call "The berserker's curse" which causes the astartes afflicted to go into an unholy rage upon entering close combat with their hated foes, which is a double edged sword that has been known to both help and hinder Kaelo. (The other Astartes is Deadalus Ashblood who is now interred within an ironclad dreadnought)
I did some thinking and I have decided to go Ork. Name: NutStompah WAAAGH!!!/Clan: Da MegaSmasherz ( Both the Waaagh/tribe and character are fan-made ) Status: Nob Height: Roughly 2.5 meters ( 8 and half feet though a hunched stance lowers this slightly ) Weight: Somewhat more than twice that of a normal Ork boy Weapons: Big Choppa ( Two-handed axe ) Twin-linked Shoota 2 x Stikkbomb Equipment: 'Eavy Armor Iron Gob History: The exact history of the Nob known as NutStompah is unkown save for a scant few details. The Ork in question began his days as a lowly boy in the Klan known as the Goffs and quickly made a name for himself. Some of his early feats include the gutting of General Farrow of the 2nd Jerichan MARDIV, a detachment of Imperial guard sent to stamp out the tribe he was a part of. In addition to that particular kill, Stompah was noted in further battles to exhibit a cunning that was unheard of save for a few amongst the Goffs. Unfortunately, despite reaching Nob status, the "Fighting and winning" of Stompah and his boyz quickly came to a somewhat bitter end. Instead of being slaughtered in one glorious dust up, Stompah was stranded upon a Space Hulk known only as the "Tomb of Madmen". This incident came about when Stompah and his Boyz, now in the service of a Warboss, took to the stars to join in his WAAAGH!!!. Unfortunately, a poorly made warp drive brought the ork ship out on a direct collision course with the Hulk. One crash, a series of explosions, and a teleporta being used saw Stompah as the sole survivor. With his craft now part of the Hulk and his boys dead or lost, Stompah became yet another damned soul destined to persist inside of the Hulk.
Name: Rumon Legion/Affiliation: Night Lords Status: Astarte, ex-Destroyer Wargear: Lightning Claw Bolt Pistol 2x Phosphrex Bombs MKIII Iron Helmet MKVII Aquila Chest plate (Aquila removed and replaced with Night Lord Heraldry) MKVII Arms and Shoulder plates MKIV Maximus Legs (All in Midnight Clad) History: A veteran of the Long War, like most Night Lords having a whole list of "achievements" of things he'd witnessed, Nostromo's destruction, the death of the Night Haunter, the Ultramarines and their bastard sons laying Tsagualsa low and then so many other sights. Rumon was part of the 112th Company, Third Claw as a Destroyer Marine Sargent employing weaponry even some Night Lords shied away from for their awesome power. When the luck that followed the Night Lords everywhere they went came with the Night Lords by the time the Long War came to a close with the Warmaster's death the toll of losses within the thousands of claws was evident. The once proud 112th Company was left as a skeleton crew, less then fifty Astartes remained but luckily slaves remained able to keep the Strike Cruiser, Night's End running. Like what happened with most other groups of Night Lords, luxuries like wargear maintenance was no longer available and they'd have to deal with it on their own. As the Night's End screamed through the Warp after escaping an engagement with an Salamander patrol fleet. It wasn't without wounds, engines were damaged and however far the Navigator could take the Night's End they just had to hope it'd be near a starport to repair and not filled with enemies of the Night Lords. Needless to say it'd have to be a miracle. Night's End's engines died in the Warp and they then came back to realspace with the only hope being within this Space Hulk they were close to they could salvage enough supplies to get Night's End running again. As they escaped the Salamanders they flew straight into an Ultramarine patrol that noticed the Night's End shortly after the majority of the Night Lords went to the Hulk to search for whatever salvage there maybe. The Night Lords did get to watch the Night's End's final moments as it became a new sun for a time. That was over a hundred years ago, the thirty or so Astartes who came aboard with Rumon are all gone now. The only way to survive the Space Hulk is to hide and strike from the shadows when the odds are in your favour. Thankfully the Space Hulk had rarely travelled through the Warp since their arrival. It was only describable as a nightmare when it did. It wasn't the Hulk that killed off most of the Night Lords but the travels through the Warp that did. Rumon lost contact with his brothers the last surviving twenty of them around twenty Terran standard years ago. It is possible they're still living but Rumon could search for a millennia and still have no trace of them. Maybe one day a ship will come to investigate the Hulk and then Rumon can try to escape and reunite with his Legion again. They must still be alive, they'd lived for the last ten millennia, they wouldn't have fallen in the last hundred years or so. _______________________________________ Anything out of place let me know and I'll work on correcting it.
