The Bowels of Madness (A Space Hulk RP)

  1. Fair enough then, this makes more sense. Thank you for sharing.

In this case, I humbly request some time for adventure and enjoyment in this RP setting, before the inevitable first contact with the Tyranids, and it's prompt finish.

Gaunt, please calm down. This is supposed to be fun and you're taking things far too personally. Yes, you do know more about the lore than I do. You've presented valuable guidance so far and I've used that guidance as best I can. Clarifying the difference between an Admiral and a Lord Admiral is important and I thank you for that. I want to get the lore right. But I want to get the lore right to create an immersive, enjoyable story. I do NOT want to get the lore right in order to fulfill some sort of imaginary checkbox that you seem to think the established body of work has created. I'm not judging you and I don't want to single you out but you've been very insistent on procedure for the navy side and completely rigid on how this story should unfold. I'm not going to defend the ideas I have or try to explain why it's a good idea to listen to an adeptus astartes company, a unit of men with more individual experience than anyone in the imperium, because this argument you've started has somehow gone beyond that. I joined this site to write with others in the 40K universe. I can here to have fun. You are not making this fun. If that's too complicated for you to understand than maybe you shouldn't be in this RP anymore.

Why are you so upset about this? Why are you so ready to end this story when you don't even know what I have planed yet? Maybe you should think about that and get back to me. You're an excellent writer and you know a lot more than I do. I'd like your help in getting the details right but I don't want your help if you continue being a jerk.

Gaunt just is a lot serious than most here. Nothing wrong with that.

Still I believe he was supposed to be drowning me as I'm (Apparently) a witch so I don't see why I should be defending him...

I've never had the pleasure of being in an RP with him but I assume things just aren't going at a pace he's accustomed. I assume that is why anyway.

    Could always join Chaos...

Waiting on @Veneriah so I can finish up Simus' conversation and move on. Also, @H1veTyrant and @GoreWrencha , are you guys still online? I haven't heard anything from either of you since your CC's and you both need to make an intro post.
  5. I actually completely forgot I signed up for this.
  6. Wow.. reading through the last few pages, I'm glad I didn't join this.

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way Skyheart but I do understand where you're coming from. not exactly how I wanted to start my time here lol.

Nah things are fine, we're just in some growing pains.

Let's hope we can all acclimate soon then. I think what I'll do is skip over Veneriah if he doesn't post by tomorrow and get the Boros on board. we can always have our conversation later and I could just say one of us was interrupted. and I think i'll add a few more Orks for the spiky boyz to play with. perhaps led by a certain freebooter with a fetish for hats, or a warboss with a fondness for skullz.

Well if people are inactive and you've messaged them, alerted them and so on and they're still not responding then by all means they're inactive. Could join later but if they ain't here then they ain't here.

They've not stated any reason why they're not here have they?
