So as we start this Role-play i hope we can continue it in the actual game. Iss ther any promise for some support or an actual rpg server from the devs so far?
The devs have stated quite a few times that their game is meant for roleplaying; being targetted at Warhammer 40k-fans and not mainstream-gamers Anyway, here's some teaser from the campaign I'm setting up. IIRC there are plans to only have one server so.. no. However, those of us in the same faction will be able to interact and such, especially on the strike cruisers. Personally, if my game is still going and players are interested in continuing we will be.
What are Chaos Spawns? Aren't t-OH NO FDSGSJSSsfgsgjslhg As for roleplaying in the game, I'm sure we'll be able to do something on Strike Ships, but that's probably just going to be causal "tavern" Roleplay. So I doubt we'll be able to carry this into the game at great length.

Well, of course there's that. But for the most part, it won't be any where nearly as deep as a 40k RPG
