I've been talking with Freke and it's looking like I'll be best in a Tyryt group schedule wise, so could I be put on in a group that's doing that? I have my character ready or you could contact Freke if that's more convenient.
I've been in touch with Freke recently about getting involved with this and wouldn't mind being put in with a group. I don't really know what the schedules are so it's hard to say which one I could fit in.
I have GM'ed Black Crusade quite extensively in the past. It's my favourite of the FFG lines so if you require an additional GM (or player) I would be willing to volunteer, as well as with any organisation that needs doing. I've run them via Myth-Weavers (forum) and Skype in the past. I've looked a little into R20 but not so much. In addition, I've also dragged a few friends kicking and screaming into the PnP world, thus I'm open to assisting new beginners who are keen to get involved but haven't experienced it yet. HOLY S*#T! Why am I only seeing this thread now!? (My own fault for not exploring too far I suppose) anyway I have never DMed a PnP game but I have been a player in a couple (have never actually completed a PnP game since the only one I ever played was DnD and the group just stopped playing ) anyway if you guys need another player for Black Crusade I would love to and have always wanted to try it ever since I got into Warhammer 40K tabletop gaming, oh and of course....SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
I would LOVE to get in on this. I downloaded several books on PDF and haven't stopped paging through them since.
So, I'm musing on which format to use. If there's interest in a specific one, or both, let me know. I'll also be allowing all Tomes (Fate, Blood, Excess) and classes/items/powers within. Myth-Weavers Forum built for PnP. Includes dice rollers, private text tools, etc. Forum format means just about anybody can join. Forum format means lengthier, more detailed posting. Forum format means quick-fire posting is rare and slow. Forum format means players are less timezone restricted. Forum format means people are able to get into the roleplay a bit more. Forum format means combat often bogs down the game due to posting times. Skype I have a dice roller addon. Questions can be answered more quickly. Games revolve around a specific day/time. Specific dates and times means we wait on/lose individuals. Combat can be a complete chore when we're waiting around.
