    The more the merrier, the last count I heard was 13 and that was yesterday, but it seems there's enough for another group. I'm off to sleep though, (2 A.M.) so I will see what I can do tomorrow ;)

    Just out of curiosity, could I join in also? How does it work with factions? I would like to bring my Iron Warrior knowledge to some use! (also to learn how the heretic scum works like :p)

    Currently we work with Chaos-alligned characters, but the Black Crusade can also be about someone who is on the verge to join Chaos and isn't completely mad yet. But for the individual marines; it's quite possible to come from your own warband.
    My own character is a Black Legionnaire who had to flee his Legion after staging a coupe on Abaddon and failling miserably, but survived; I based the story on the fact that he is has the talent for Ancient Warrior (he has experienced the Horus Heresy and the Long War), takes Pride in Commanding others, is wrathful and wants to gain immortality above all else.
    Except for the Ancient Warrior (which I bought with the starting experience) I rolled randomly for the others and got Pride and Wrath as personality with Immortality as a goal. My character sheet looks like this:

    DESCRIPTION: Arkaneth is a Black Legion Space Marine, having served the Primarch Horus since the Great Crusade. During the Siege of Terra, he became renown amongst his squad for disorientating the Imperial Fists onboard the Vengeful Spirit, an act that still gives him pride.
    Afterwards he wasn't seen for several milennia. After a power-struggle, he manipulated other Black Legionnaires into staging a mutiny against Abbadon the Despoiler, wrathful of the foiled Black Crusades.
    Unfortunately Arkaneth failed horribly and fled; still hoping to gain the favour of the Dark Gods and become a Daemon-Prince.

    Mhhhh I see quite interesting, I am not sure if I will join in though. Looks very complicated and time-consuming and I do not want to halt anyone as I am working on my own RP lol. Furthermore I am not sooo good with the chaos lore, I only have a bit knowledge in Ahriman and the Thousand Sons and in the siege addicted Iron Warriors.

    But once you actually start this I would be interested to read what you all produce together!

    We'll be taking sign-ups for the next coming weeks while we sort everything out. We're trying to make sure everyone at least has the PDF for Black Crusade.

    As for non Chaos characters, you can join sure. Just make sure it isn't your loyalist marine going into Eternal Crusade. :p

    The only real complex part of Black Crusade is character generation. Which, is mostly done for you. There are a few bits you personalize but for the most part it's either randomly generated, or it's given to you based on your class.

    Once we get rolling and things start to smooth out, I'm fairly certain we could include at least a few other races for potential PvP combat. As Rogue Trader has stats for a Warboss, and Black Crusade deals with Hordes of units. Which basically allows for Orkz to be playable. Dark Heresy includes Arbites, Inquisitors, Psykers, and the like. Only War includes Imperial Guardsmen, etc.

    As for the RP, we'll (at least I'll try) to publish it in the form of a story, or some sort. Even if it's just bare facts it'll definitely be posted in the thread. We're also looking at recording the sessions and hosting them, but that's still in debate right now.
