Seeing how Varel introduced him, with a passable alibi for now, Rtora came forward to properly join the conversation. The whiskey from earlier was starting to hit him so he blinked a few times to clear his head a bit.

"Greetings, B2. My...associate speaks true." Rtora was about to shake the droids hand but instead just waved. "I have found one prospective pilot, unless you know of someone better."
That's when the Jawa joined their company, which prompted Rtora to check his pockets and gear, for some reason, discreetly on the spot quickly. He looked at the bolt in the Jawa's hands, blinking a few times.
    "That's a restraining bolt."

  2. Fritz looked at the scaly one unblinkingly for awhile, trying to process if the lizard man had the mental capacity of a New born. "Yes" Fritz finally said after an awkward second of silence, "Fritz see Lizard man very observive" Fritz looked over to the horned one with almost pleading eyes, hoping that this one was smarter. "Place on droid, droid stop malfunctioning, good for all, yes?"

The new arrival did look quite shady, at least that's what Varel thought initially - it takes one to know one after all. He wasn't really into technological mumbo jumbo, him preferring to deal with the things in a bit more forceful way so he nodded with satisfaction once Rtora made his comment.

"Indeed, with that placed on him he would definitely stop malfunctioning. However I'm not looking for that. He malfunctions in a way I prefer him to malfunction, I was merely looking for someone to help him repair his wrist blaster."

It was very difficult to gauge this Jawa's personality and aspirations besides grabbing a hold of B2, but there was indeed something that drew zabrak to ask the next question. "What's your story Jawa? Are you looking for work? Tell me and my companions what you are good at and we might come to a mutual agreement."

He looked over at the smaller woman, answering rather quickly. "I want off; I had business here, and now it's dealt with. The last one who brought me here had business too, and that ended with him being dead and the ship being 'borrowed'. So I'm needing to get off some way or another."
"You're pilots, then?" He tilted his head a bit now, a faint bit of interest in his voice.

  5. Fritz stared blankly at the horned man perhaps even longer then the lizard man. "Horned man...want...droid stay broken?" The Jawa couldn't help but scratch the top of his head in confusion. "Errr...that okay too. Horned man want droid broken, droid stay broken." Fritz couldn't really think of why someone would want their droid to malfunction. Unless they also liked to see things explode as much as he did. "Fritz fix what horned man want Fritz fix. Bolt still needs to go on droid. Fritz can't have droid move when Fritz fixing droid. Mess everything up. Start all over."

The horned man asking personal questions caused Fritz' to tilt his head to the side, confused by the amount of questions he had for the Jawa. "Why need Fritz life story? Stories don't fix droids. Fritz fixes droids. Fritz want credits. Fritz need credits to get off station. Fritz can't blow stuff up here and not get caught. Fritz make credits by fixing things and making bad people go boom. Fritz like last part more. Horned man happy now, yes? Horned man put bolt on droid now, yes?"

B2 was using every last one of his capabilities to keep himself from smashing the tiny hooded wretche " I AM NO-ONES PROPERTY ! AND NO-ONE , ESPECIALLY NOT YOU SHALL PUT A RESTRAINING BOLT ON ME !" the droid bellowed At the small Jawa, Fritz it had called itself. " WHILST MY ORIGINAL MECHANIC HAS RECENTLY MOVED HIS PLACE OF DWELLING TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION I MUST ADVISE WE DISTRUST THIS .... ENTITY" the droid said looking down upon the small jawa undurr if it had hesrd all it had said correctly

Rtora moved between B2 and the Jawa. "Lets not bolt anyone, we should be co-operating." He said, looking at Varel and Fritz in turn to get them to agree with him, still not fully trusting this newfound force sensitive Zabrak.
"Let us instead find a decent pilot, some common ground and share a drink." Rtora said. "Of water." He added, muttering to himself remembering how hard it was to down the whiskey.

"I'd guess he wants passage," Kina replied in an undertone for her honor-sister's benefit, before she turned her eyes back on the Mandalorian. She had no doubt about the kind of 'business' he dealt in, he was the kind of man who straddled an uncertain line between lawman and assassin. He was trouble. He was credits. They didn't need trouble. They needed credits. It was a tug-of-war between good sense and the immediate needs, but Kin'aven's pazaak face was no shabby thing, and she revealed little of her internal struggle as she regarded the bounty hunter.

"That's a real nice thing to let your prospective pilots know before you've hired 'em," she told him. Her hand played with the lekku she'd thrown about her neck, stroking over the black-inked appendage like it was an exquisite fur stole and she was the mysterious femme fatale of one of the holovids she loved watching. There was a moment of rueful contemplation where Kin'aven realized many of her mannerisms had been inspired by that kind of media.

"How do I know you're not bad luck, pateesa?" she asked, slipping into Huttese momentarily. 'Friend' was an inoffensive thing to call anybody, and she expected the Mandalorian to know his way around the Outer Rim --- and thus the trade language. No big risks taken there, but she wanted to see how he'd react to her question.

This Fritz fellow was indeed interesting. There was something about him, his ideas of causing havoc and trying to fool the others to advance his own goals, that spoke to Varel. Those were the things he also fed upon, although in a bit different way.

"Restraining bolt stays off," Varel said with a commanding voice, before once again slipping back into his easygoing "mood". "If you can't repair it without it, then so be it. I have just acquired the services of this B2 unit and I would not look kindly on those who want to take it from me that soon."

"Keep your secrets hidden then, it makes no difference to me. However I've heard you like destruction? You see Fritz, my companions and I are gathering here to set upon an adventure of sorts. We seek knowledge and we have found a place, hidden on a different world, that we need to explore so it might be worth your while to come and join us and flee this dump of a planet. On these trips lots of things often go bad and are in need of blowing up, so I can promise you that your skills will be put to proper use."

While he allowed the Jawa to think about the proposal, Varel turned towards Rtora and B2. "I spotted a Mandalorian outside, who is interstingly enough, right over there," he slightly nodded at the table where he was talking to two females. "We could try to approach him and enlist his services, it's better to have one of them on our side than against us. Also, those two he's talking to look like pilots to me, so maybe we can swat two flies with one blow?"

The man noticably bristled a bit at hearing the language, though he didn't react much more than that - a brief glance to the side at the~...
Group, that was seemingly looking their way. "I wager my services they'd be less than friendly." Was his simple response. "And anything else you'd wish, to prove I'm not wishing to be bad fortune. I win, then you bring me to where I need to go, we have a few drinks, you go on your way and we forget we ever existed."
Valrin's hand subtly reached for his blaster on the opposite side of him - outside of view of anyone else, but one that the two pilots could still see, more to avoid the sights of the newly formed group rather than the pilots.
