One of the Officers shakily stepped forward before standing to his full height. His bareing as an Imperial Officer slowly returning. "I am Second Lieutenant Maclin." He gestured to the three other Officers in the room. "They are merely Officer Candidates, what do you want from us?" He eyed the group seeming to make a decision but remained quiet. The three Officer Candidates still seemed nervous but tried to appear calm, but failing miserably with visible shaking from time to time.

Rtora slithered inside, placing himself next to the twilek captain.
"We want you, only you, lieutenant. Come quietly. Please."
He relinquished his grip on the sword hilt and showed his palms expressing no ill intent.
"Don't give any reason for them to hurt you."

Zin pursed her lips, wracking her brain to translate jawa-speak into a sensible message. She fiddled with her commlink, but eventually put it to her lips, calling out to the only frequency she would ever trust. "Tenya", she said, voice rising as it lost thoughtfulness and turned fully chipper, "Say there's some imperial walker leaving. We saw it. Would you like to know? I mean, like... sounds relevant, right?"

It was then that Fritz' meaning hit her. "Oh! Oh! Tenya, wait! What if the target's on there!"

Kina's comlink beeped. She picked it out of her jacket pocket and put it to her ear, closing her eyes momentarily as she listened to her co-pilot's voice come through. The somewhat serene moment was broken by the news passed along over the waves. She swore in Huttese, then shifted back to Basic for everyone's benefit. "Can you track it? Can you get the shuttle up and running? Get that bird in the air as quick as you can and go after him!" she instructed the pair, then directed her blaster on the second lieutenant. She looked at the others. "Doctor, you're with me. The rest of you, head back to the garage and get vehicles --- AT-STs, bikes, whatever. I want that lieutenant in hand and wrapped up like a present."

The Mandalorian hadn't really been paying too much attention, simply standing firm with his heavy blaster in hand, watching the officers. Admittedly, this wasn't the most enjoyable of scenes. Some fights, yes, but while his blood was pumping through those he found it so... Dull.

The mention, however, of 'tracking' and then being told to find a lieutenant, who seems to be fleeing - fleeing, of all things! - got a very brief smile under his helm. None would notice it, but R'tora or Kina may have noticed in how his helm tilted up ever so slightly, raising his 'chin'; in the brief time with him they could see this was a sign of approval.

He didn't speak. He didn't even give off any sigh or chuckle, but just holstered his blaster and immediately set off towards the garage, running as fast as his legs would let him.
The jetpack wouldn't be used both for the fact that the blood pumping was certainly an enjoyable experience, and the slight ache of his muscles from the sprint - but also because he wished to savour this, and keep that for use when he got close to the damnable coward.

Stun, not kill. He reminded himself.

    Command Center

After part of the team left for the garage the Second Lieutenant spoke. "You won't catch him, he's heading for the Communications Relay." A smug smirk crossed his face. "If you were smart you would flee while you can, soon enough reinforcements will be here and you'll all be throne in prison."

    Garage

The group heading to the garage passed the still shutdown droid as the entered the garage. Nothing seemed out of place at first save a missing AT-ST. A quick glance around the garage showed a panel that been removed and lay half hazardly on the pourcrete floor of the garage. This must have been how the Lieutenant escaped the Command Center. A quick check of the speeders and remaining AT-ST showed that they seemed to be in good working order. The cockpit of the AT-ST was currently locked however.

    Llambda Class Shuttle

Tracking the fleeing AT-ST was not difficult at all given the shuttles scanners. But getting the bucket in the air was something else all together. Both knew from their experience with machines that completing the necessary repairs could take several hours to get the shuttle airborne.

    Commlinks Entire Party

As the group spread out all of their commlinks crackled to live. "Howl...ner squ.. is the .... secure?" The signal is weak causing the communication to experience breaks. Perhaps someone could boost the signal to find out who is trying to contact them.

Valrin hadn't wasted much time now in jumping over towards a speeder bike - he hadn't cared to wait to see if anyone else would jump on with him lest they were quite truly seconds away. His gaze went down to the controls and as he reached for the handlebars, he smiled.

It wasn't exactly complicated - perhaps something he was rusty with, but overall he certainly drove these before, even if it wasn't the specific models that the Imperials used; brief memories of his adolescence came to mind that he snuffed out, the brief smile fading as quick as it came.

Now wasn't the time for nostalgia, he thought to himself as he looked to the hall the others may come from. Should nobody else by there in but a few seconds, he'd waste no time in zooming out into the distance, now seeing about following what tracks the thing would leave; if there was none, well...

He'd see about contacting the Jawa and Zelosian to help him!

"Thank you kindly," Kina replied to the officer. She picked up her commlink again and broadcasted on the general squad channel. "He's bound for the comm relay, get on it," she barked, before pocketing it again. She looked to Dek. "Search their pockets, check their health while you're at it," she told them. Suddenly her commlink crackled again and she listened to the distorted voices. "... Somebody get me that relay, maybe we can boost this signal," she added over their channel.

Rtora followed the cold blooded mandalorian, listening to his new captain bark out orders, the one who actually seemed like she had a semblance of a good person somewhere in there, maybe. The doctor had been a relief, another one with a good heart.

This wasn't the time for wandering thoughts however, so Rtora made haste to chase after their target. Once at the garage he frowned at the bikes. He'd need practice first to even try and attempt to ride one with his body type. The armored murderer was loose already too, he needed to do something.
So he saw the AT-ST and decided to go for that. He was going to force the lock open if nothing else. Whatever tools or manners of entry the garage provided, he'd use them.

    Jungle Chase

Cracking open the locked AT-ST was easier than expected for Rtora, in all honesty he wasn't actually sure how he did it! Climbing inside he was able to get the walker moving with little difficulty. Once Valrin and Rtora piloted their individual vehicles outside they found tracking the fleeing Lieutenant would be a far simpler task than expected. In the Lieutenant's haste to escape he had blasted a clear path through the jungle vegetation.

    Command Center

During the search of the Officers, nothing new had been discovered besides a single light blaster pistol per Officer. Due to the cowardice of the Officers, not a single one had any injuries of note. "You are running out of time to escape. The longer you wait the slimmer your chances of survival." The senior ranking Officer's confidence seemed to be faltering, perhaps he didn't believe reinforcements were coming. Or it simply could have been fear that this group would just kill them all to cover their tracks. Either way he seemed to be trying to force them to leave using fear.

    Lambda Class Shuttle

As they watched the scanner, two new blimps appeared. The two new blimps were pursuing the fleeing AT-ST and appeared to be making progress in that endeavor. If they hoped to maintain contact with the pursuing vehicles it would be in there best interest to boost their comms signal. Perhaps they could use the shuttles comms to reach them? Or possibly clear up the signal from earlier?
