Team Grab @bossaroo @Kalle @Vlayden Holstering his blasters, Valrin placed the Stormtrooper in a headlock finishing the job he started. With two of the Stormtroopers down moved to help B2. Firing her heavy blaster pistol, her aim was off due to the emergency lightings dim illumination. The bolt of energy missing its target and hitting B2's exposed circuits, causing an explosion of sparks rendering the ancient droid inoperable. Unable to to escape the collapsing droid, the final Stormtrooper was crushed under the B2's weight. After the dust of the fight settled, a faint noise could be heard from outside the barracks. If anyone listened it almost sounded like a cry for help. Was there a prison cell block in the base that wasn't shown on their map?
Team Smash @Colapse @Wata @GobMaw_HellSmasha Zin had known something was wrong when the generator had started to sputter. Now it had been pitch black. Only for a moment, but all-encompassing, all-consuming, lightless void of black. The Zelosian froze. Even if it only had been a negative flash, and the scant emergency light did its best to compensate, Gallyd was still shaking, clenching her teeth and finding her breath in one deep draw of carbon dioxide while raising her gun, not ready to meet the oncoming foes, but trying to get as ready as zelosianly possible.
Rtora got ready, he wouldn't hesitate this time. He twirled the vibrosword in his hand and prepared to strike. He really didn't want this but there was no backing off anymore. Intending to use only what was necessary to neutralize the threats, if they even were such.
The Mandalorian gave a content hum as he felt the Stormtrooper go limp - not that it stopped him any, for once the soldier was slowly incapacitated, a sickening 'crack' was heard as he snapped the man's neck, before getting himself to his feet. He took a small breather before nodding over at the Twi'lek, giving off a shrug. "What next?" He asked, unholstering a blaster pistol and gesturing towards the~... Well - exit, or wherever the noise came from. He did not speak it, but he was more referring to what she may wish to do regarding this.
Team Grab @Vlayden @bossaroo Kina watched B2 go down in a heap of metal over the stormtrooper. She lowered her pistol, though she kept it on hand still. They weren't out of this yet. She cast a look over to Valrin. Just the two of them now. "... I heard voices, I think," she says quietly. "There could be someone kept in a containment block here..." There it was again. For all her posturing of being a tough freighter captain on the fringe of civilization, Kina was still affected by a degree of conscience that just wouldn't leave her alone. She beckoned for Valrin to follow her out of the room. "Come on. Let's get 'em out," she said. "By my counting, we're a man down. Might be we can fix our numbers some." She picked up her comlink. "Droid's down. Negative on the lieutenant. We're going to be delayed," she spoke into the device, before pressing on deeper into the base.
@Casavay Fritz was pretty happy with the results of the generator blowing up. He did his part of the plan, now was just waiting till the mission was done with and he can collect his payment in credits, droids, and explosives. While contemplating on how to recover the janitor droid from the base the Jawa looked over at the green eyed lady. She was acting really nervous, like something spooked her and caused her to freeze up. Fritz figured that it might have been the explosion that scared her, the Jawa realized not everybody enjoyed the sights and sounds the pretty fireballs produced in their brief moment of existence. The Jawa also realized that green eyed lady was their pilot and way out of here, and it was really important that the pilot wasn't scared stiff. Rummaging through his backpack, Fritz pulled out Rancky the plushie rancor and held it out in front of the green eyed lady. "Fritz admit that Fritz forget green eyes codename, but if green eyes want, she can hug Rancky. When Fritz was baby, used to hug Rancky when got scared. Might help green eyes too, yes?"
He just grunted in response now. "All it means is I use two pistols instead of one." He quipped regarding the lack of the SBD. Shame; heard those things were a helluva pain in the Clone Wars. At her words saying to go check out whoever this new person was, Valrin wasn't going to complain. Someone else to take the shots wasn't his problem, and admittedly, he didn't feel too bad if they were going to leave them behind to suffer in this facility. "Another meat shield?"
Team Smash @Casavay @Colapse @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Wata With the low light helping their advance towards the launchpad, Varel peered around the corner. It seemed that Team Smash finally found where some of the base's troops were. Four sentries armed with blaster carbines currently blocked their path. Securing the launchpad just got a little more difficult. Team Grab @bossaroo @Kalle @Vlayden Following the voice they heard brought them deeper into the base. Passing through the base training area they were able to locate a small holding area. Two cells were located off of the side of a small room. A single desk and two storage lockers were the only features in the room. In one of the cells sat a Nautolan.
Doctor Dek Yerra was excited, why ? the only reason a non-human in an Imperial prison cell had to be excited of course , Freedom or at least the prospect of it. The Nautolan had heard the sounds of blasters and fightning not too far away they had caused quite a bit of a noise hoping that they'd at least aid whomever fought the Damnable Imperials by distracting one and if they were lucky , a rescuer. As the blasting stopped and the Lights went out Dek got a little anxious. Had their been some defeat ? Had they been routed ? Had they not cared ? @Kalle @Vlayden The Thoughts quickly dispersed upon seeing a Twi'lek walking forward blaster drawn with a Mandolorian following behind they waved to them "Hello ? You two seem like decent folk , would you mind releasing me please so i may not starve in this cell ?" They asked their tone as cordial and friendly as a person could manage after imperial imprisonment. Though they entertained the thought they were Bounty hunters at the sight of the Mandolorian, they hadnt done anything bounty worthy had they ?
Kina stepped into the holding area and regarded the nautolan trapped behind the bars. She eyed them over, then sauntered over to open up the cell and let the alien out. "Look, we're not heroes, but right now, we're the best you've got. We're taking a shuttle out of here, and if you want to be on it, you're gonna have to pull your weight. Deal? We're looking for the base's lieutenant. Got any idea where he is?"
