B2 was deeply saddened to see the valaint and powerful BX unit , one of the terrors of the clone wars that had kept clones wary and up at night depriving them of vital sleep even when its presence was systems away , had been reduced to a janitor of all things. How far the mighty had fallen , the thought further hammered home by the Jawa ion blasting the unit into submission . Feeling rage build up it moved to the main corridor of the officers quarter ots cannon primed and ready to deal death for this dishonor to the CIS
<Team Smash> @Casavay @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Wata Varel followed Zin down the corridor, stepping past the stunned droid and not interfering with Fritz's actions. "Just make sure that droid doesn't blow our cover and lets get going, we have a place to blow up." Finding the possibility of meeting more Imperials on their way, Varel took his light blast pistols and set them to stun, much to his dissatisfaction but he understood the need for stealth so he played along for now. Of course, this didn't mean he would not switch back and start killing the defenders the moment their cover was blown. Better safe than sorry. @Casavay "Miss Zin," he addressed the Zelosian, feeling a bit more talkative than usual, "I feel that since we are working together, we should know a bit more about each other to make the team work better, agreed? I wanted to ask - have you ever done this before? Sneaking into an Imperial base, killing soldiers and taking their assets for yourself?"
The Mandalorian gave a small grumble now as he followed the Twi'lek, raising his pistols and getting into a jog - should he see any enemies he'd open fire down low, (aiming for their legs or pelvis specifically, just in case it was accidentally the person they were looking for), before piping up to the Captain. "...Any reason your friend hates me??" @Kalle
Fritz was starting to grow quite impatient with the stubbornness of this droid. It was either that, or his ion gun was getting faulty and he really needed a replacement for it. An issue for Fritz to worry about later as he shot the BX droid once more with the ion gun. Now with the droid hopefully stunned, he'd be able to simply remove the bolt the Imp men had on the droid and replace it with his own, clearly better bolt. "Fritz only take second. Fritz need moment to make sure Droid no cause issues. Quick fix, yes."
Team Smash @Colapse @Casavay @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Wata Heading straight for the generator the only sound that was heard were their own footsteps on the pourstone floor. The eerie silence dogged them with every step forward, not a single Imperial in sight. Rounding the corner they found the door to the generator room with a sign reading Authorized Personnel Only. As to be expected the door refused to open, giving a soft 'dun dun dun' as it disobeyed the teams commands. Team Grab @bossaroo @Kalle @Vlayden The two more nimble members of Team Grab sprinted forward as the slower B2 lumbered behind. The base so far devoid of any life. Peeking around the corner they were able to see the door to where they believed their intended target was. Directly opposite of the doorway was the barracks area of the base, but it was of little concern as no sounds could be heard, from anywhere oddly enough. Hitting the door controls, the grey slab slid open without a sound. Inside they found the Officers' Living Quarters, completely vacant. Did their target know they were coming? Where were all the Imperials? If they hoped to find their target they may have to search the base further. Perhaps Kurtz was wrong about the troop numbers? There was only one way to find out.
Upon looking at the door refusing to open, Fritz sighed and pulled out his fusion cutter. The little Jawa gave it a little twirl in his hand and walked right toward the control panel of the door. "Fritz have all authorization Fritz need right here" the Jawa stated shaking the little fusion cutter for emphasis. Little sparks flew off the panel as the fusion cutter began to melt away the metal. After a few short moments of cutting away the Door control panel, Fritz exposed the wiring to the door mechanism. "Now, Fritz get to hard part." The Jawa began finagling with the wires in a chaotic fashion, pulling and stretching wires seemingly at random. After what seemed like the maddening spasms of a psychotic,Fritz stepped back and looked up toward the others that joined him. "There, Fritz think door open now, yes"
Sufficed to say, the Mandalorian wasn't letting his guard down anytime soon - keeping his blaster at the ready all the while. A glance over to the Twi'lek, and he turned to look around at either way in the hall with his blaster at the ready. If there was anything, he'd be doing his damndest to notice!
@bossaroo @Vlayden @Casavay "Zin's her own woman," Kina replied in a hushed voice as she laid her back flat against the wall, then crossed the corridor in three quick steps and opened. The doors slid open, revealing... nothing. The twi'lek hissed, scowl growing on her face as she looked to the Mandalorian and droid along. "Next office," she barked, before she picked up her comlink, set to Zin's frequency. "Change of plan, teeubo," Kina whispered into the device. "Your group keeps going for the launch pad and secure the shuttle, I'll be taking the buckets deeper in," she said, before slipping the comlink back into its pocket and beckoning to the others. Leading her team towards the barracks area, she kept her eyes wide open as she slowly scanned the corridors. "Eyes... open..."
Team Smash @Colapse @Casavay @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Wata After some sparking from the control panel the grey slab slid open with a dull *thunk*. The interior of the generator room was lit by a single light that flickered slightly before it came fully online when the door opened. The generator itself filled most of the small room with a small access panel for generator maintenance facing towards the door. Team Grab @bossaroo @Kalle @Vlayden Despite their heightened alert, nothing but silence greeted them. Their target was no where in sight, and they were no closer to nabbing him while they just stood in the empty corridor and Officers Quarters.
"... I'm not a bucket." He muttered at Kina - even if he may sound grumbly, had the Twi'lek any social sense in her head she'd be able to tell that he was mostly trying some vague attempt at humour. Admittedly, the lack of actual resistance (hue, resistance) was what concerned him, glancing around and bringing his free hand near the extra blaster at his side. When Kina of course said 'Eyes open', he just shrugged. "I'm not sleepwalking - of course they're open."
