Following B2's engagement and since the element of surprise was pretty much lost, Varel pounced from his own hiding spot and moved towards the closest sentry. He would pull out his vibro knife and using the fact the rest of the group would open fire, Varel would try and close the distance after which he would look to stab the Imperial soldier in his neck joint, going for the quick kill.
The Mandalorian wasn't going to go wasting much time in switching the stun back to 'kill' as he saw the Sentries - jumping into the air with the Jetpack and letting off a barrage of shots into the group; admittedly not aiming for the Squad Leader in particular, but instead his lackeys. He'd aim to land a small distance away and still out of sight, hopefully using what foliage was nearby to hide behind it. Should've gotten a few nades... He thought to himself as he took the moment to listen, before poking up again and giving off yet another barrage. Hopefully more accurate this time (and that's not to say that it was a spray'n'pray moment before!)
No plan survives contact with the enemy, but this was still going according to plan, so far as Kina was concerned. She popped out of cover and rested her blaster against the crates she'd hid behind, using it to assist her aim as she fired stun bolts at one of the other sentries, attempting to down him quickly with a rapid succession of shots!
Despite the sentries being alerted to the presence of an intruder it did not work out in their favor. As quickly as they were discovered they emerged from their hiding places, springing the trap! The old battle droid had not lost any of its accuracy over the years as his rounds impacted against a sentry dropping him instantly. At the same moment Varel burst from his covering rapidly closed the distance, but the sentry saw him coming and was able to jump back as the vibroblade sang through the air where his neck once was. Valrin exploded from his own hiding place thanks to his jet pack, duel wielding his heavy blaster pistols. During the first volley one of his rounds found its mark claiming one stumbling sentry. From his new cover he was able to loose a few more shots dropping yet another one. The final sentry attempted to run for the alarm but was laid low by the skillful shooting of the impromptu leader of the group Kina. Once the smoke had cleared there were 3 unconscious sentries and one dead one littering the garage. Rummaging through the squad leader's gear revealed one fully functional code cylinder. Someone didn't set there blaster to stun... but did it really matter? So far the mission was going exactly as planned, onto the next stage. Would their luck hold out? Or was it all used in the ambush? Only time would tell.
"That was quick, well done," Varel said, sheeting back his dagger. In truth, he was a bit disappointed that he wasn't able to spill some Imperial blood, but then again, it's not like this entire base consisted of only four sentries. He would have the opportunity once again, he was sure of it. But now, it was time for him to try and find some edge that would help him in the future combat, given the fact he was the only one who jumped in melee this time around he didn't want to do it once again, at least not without backup. Therefore he started inspecting the fallen Imperials, looking to find some sort of a weapon - preferably ranged (but melee one can do as well) to add to his arsenal.
"Use a blaster, and you'd be useful." The Mandalorian called out to the Zabrak now, casually spinning around one of his own pistols before holstering it - he decided that he'd keep to simply using one for now, even as he slipped the holstered weapon into stun mode. Just in case, he thought to himself. It wasn't long before he'd walk over towards the corpses himself, now looking to see what they had.
Upon further inspection of the Imperials, besides the code cylinder, there were 4 light blaster pistols and a total of 297 credits. Other than their uniforms nothing else was found.
After cutting the comms relay, Fritz took it upon himself to stay hidden when the Imp men showed up. Upon things heating up Fritz set his blaster to stun and then...found himself distracted by a weird butterfly creature. It was only for a moment it seemed, but after the moment past, all the Imp men were dealt with. Didn't bother Fritz much, just meant he didn't risk himself getting shot. So Fritz put his blaster away and continued looking at the majestic butterfly that caught his attention earlier. Surely there wasn't anything they needed Fritz to do just yet. Why not take the time to soak in the natural beauty of this one particular fluttering creature.
Kina stepped out from her cover and crossed the room in a minimum of smart strides, wasting no time in dropping to a knee by one of the sentries and collecting his code cylinder. "All right, we're on the chrono, people," she said, tapping her wrist to emphasise her point. "We're going through the right-hand door," she said, getting up and approaching with the code cylinder in hand, holding it up to the gate lock. "Now, Valrin, B2, you're with me, we go to the left. The rest of you make a stop on your right, blow the generator, and make a beeline for the launch pad --- just follow the corridor until you hit a turn, then go right again," she said simply. Checking the charge of her DL-44, she cast a look about the group, before she presented the code cylinder to the slot and made to unlock the door.
Kneeling down to take his share of credits, Varel also picked up two light blasters and holstered them on his belt. Hopefully now he'll have more options to deal with the enemy while also keeping his own true power hidden. Before he could add anything else Kina spoke and he nodded, turning to his part of the team. "Let us move out. The Imperials won't know what hit them."
