True true, though I feel it's sucky that Kannondeffs can't hold the charge, or has a insta charge, unlike plasmas, and reaper weapons do.
To be honest Orks ,for being a melee faction, have an astounding number of ranged weapons. Not all of them work ..."right" but the variety is there and as soon the game gets some proper polish that variety will truly show. At least that is what i hope!
Again true, but we are usually weaksauce in Melee atm. Them wolf priests just spam RMB and actually OHK so many.
Deff Kannon is completely on par with a PC. I think it might even have a bigger impact area. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the fact that for some reason you can't reload after a shot when braced. Drives me nuts.
Thats the flaming crozius iirc.If you apply your RPS correctly you can beat them too...assuming you dont use a knife.
Your avatar makes it look like you're being threatened to make you say these things. I do agree though. Haven't considered it to be too much, even if I'm on the receiving end more often than not.
The Deff Kannon is not on a par with the Plasma Cannon because they are two fundamentally different weapons with different priorities. Both are good at what they do but to compare them is flawed. First off the Plasma Cannon is primarily used in EC for vaporizing blobs of infantry and it's secondary use is to damage vehicles. It's charged shots have large splash depending on how long you charge. Conversely the Deff Kannon has the primary use of scrapping vehicles with it's charged shot while having a finicky but situationally effective anti-infantry grenade shot is it's secondary function. The charged shots for the Kannon however do not have much splash damage and rightly so since they are to be used against AV or to snipe silly Devastators.
The Cannon Deffgun is inferior in almost every regard. Even down to graphical things like it blocking most of you view most of the time. Its click as opposed to being a useful blaster like mode launches a grenade which is rarely useful. The list of things the Plasma has over the Deffgun is so long it cannot be considered the orks counterpart weapon.
Tbh best answer is tactics. There is no real equipment answer to it. Communication and hitting enemies from unexpected direcgions is the only real way to counter a massive aoe doom dealer. You have to out think them. Next time you esplode when entering a room let your squad/team know whats up at that location. It may be smarter to concede the point, waster their time, and concentrate force on a different spot. Then setup and wait for them to come yo you where you can easily pick them off.
