You can do that OOC..... But I wouldn't let everyone communicate with eachother in character o.o would be kinda weird to disturb others during fight.... also it would work only intern a faction. As reason you could take warp disturbances / lack of Vox Towers, etc.
This was just starting to get good... *Corrupts the ground around the battlefield with tremendous amounts of Chaos, while not entirely representing the Warp the battlefield is now an ever changing hellscape of shifting ground and small gouts of Warpfire raining down form the sky*
