I like how they acknowledge Slaanesh, but I'm a bit sad the horse is gone. Not a Chaos Warriors player, but I found that the 'normalness' of his model made it more intimidating.

I really hope I'm not the only person who looked at that model and thought, 'hm, I guess he keeps the Slaaneshi head in his pants.'

I'm referring to his fluff (he rejected the rat's favour) and the Marks of Slaanesh on his shield and the box.

I'm not sure if their name being a portmanteau of Varangian Guard is clever or groan-inducingly uncreative.

While those are a bit too high fantasy for my Warhammer sensibilities, I actually do like those miniatures' design. Especially the helmets.
