I am disappointed. With that kind of build up, I expected something on the order of midget porn. 0/10 would not search again.
I have this sudden yet natural urge to yell out to the high stars something that rhymes with: Cliff in bell, Furlags
Hm, Bit of an unfortunate choice of name on Games Workshop's part then. That said, I personally like where the lore is going with the Lizardmen. It's problematic to be sure, perhaps with a few noted issues, but I personally feel the daemons angle might be something they could pull off well if given to the right person. Also, does anyone else feel this launch was a little lazy? There's no new models, little to really promote them on GW's front page - attention is still being given to the Tau Empire - and there seems to be little real effort to push this new force. The daemons angle is interesting, but I personally get the feeling it's not going to be all that well handled.
I feel similar, maybe because - from my understanding of Lizardmen lore - it does not change too much about them, really. The change from Fantasy to AoS is not as drastic with them. But then again I've never been a huge Lizardmen fan. Of course, I might be totally wrong and they're totally different and I just like them for some intangible reason.
