I would just like to thank the entire eldar community for making most fights enjoyable. Most times when i saw a grav tank glitch out it was nuked by other eldar who called bullshit. After every game? no salt, just GG or a joke. I WISH i had as much fun playing other factions as i did eldar, If i lost i know it was because the eldar tried. Thank you eldar community! You guys really know how to relax and everyone has a good time.
I have to second this, and to be fair i feel sorry for you guys at the same time as when ever we win or lose there is always some salty git giving your greif even after we won like wtf? Yea they are so op that we won, literally would like to know how these people think but i also would like to thank you except you striking scorpions i hope you all die for the amount of jumps you have given me......and all the fresh underwear i have had to put on
I just wish I could actually fight Orks for once, I've have like 90% LSM and a little Chaos on the side so I don't really know what it's like to fight Orks these days
This is a refreshing change from the hate we were receiving on a regular basis from everyone bar Orks when our power was about balanced with the other races but our specialised classes had an advantage in the low-rank early days. Now we're gimped and losing many matches, things are changing, but we'll still get the odd person resistant to change who shouts "OP!" without any real reason why any more.
we get that plenty as orkz, we lost a game and the LSM couldent help but ask how it felt in all caps repeatedly. If im fighting LSM or CSM i tend to have more salt but eldar players know the feels.
The thing about eldar is that I find them annoying to play against. Well, I mean, not the players, I really do mean eldar gameplay is annoying. I think of eldar like mosquitoes. They sting at you and you can't ever seem to get them. They indeed are a good fight, but sometimes I wish they'd perform better in some places so we could get rid of the more annoying elements. Namely road kills, I'd rather be shot to bits with even more eldar dakka. Don't get me wrong, I love fighting the panzies. I'd actually like you to get mandiblasters, scorpion claw and other tools to complete your arsenal, have more variety and be more powerful as a whole. What I don't like about eldar is the fact that some of their classes/weapons are underperforming thus forcing us to keep other OP things to maintain an overall balance. I mean, overall, eldar are "theoretically" balanced vs other factions since last patch according to dev, but are all their options actually viable? I mean, as an ork, I know I can just play whatever I want and I can make it work, is that true for eldar? I'm not sure. I think as an ork even our worst options can be fun to play as and against. With eldars, it seems from week to week their classes go from OP to UP, making it so that generally they are forced to go en-masse with the flavor of the moment. I feel sorry for the eldar players. When I see a game with scorpions, banshees, dire avengers, dark reapers, hawks and fire dragon I'm happy, but that's a rare sight unfortunatly. All in all, what I'm saying is, they do need more love, at the right places, so that if something silly pops up, we can remove it without making them uncompetitive because they'd lack alternatives.
To be honest, I also enjoy playing against Orkz the most, as it is rare to see Ork players being bad sportsmen after a loss or win, sake for the occasional and well deserved rant about the Roadkilling. Though in the end, even if the "roadkilling" issue of the Eldar Vehicles were fixed, then the Loyalists and Chaos Lads would still flame about us, because "Eldar are OP"... In any case, if I spam "ELDAR OP" enough times then at some point it will turn into a meme and people will start ignoring it. I hope
I feel as though the Xeno players need to stick together, we make up less than half the population together, so we need to group up to make sure Space Marines don't nerf both of us into the ground. But yeah, Orks seem to have the best player base in terms of roleplaying and manners. Thanks for the post .
I generally agree. I think you can make any Eldar class work, but you need to know what you should be doing with them at any given moment. Probably Fire Dragons have the simplest role for Eldar, followed by Warlocks. The others all need to know how their class is best utilised based on the status of the battlefield. Obviously every other Faction has this too, but with Eldar I feel it's more pronounced - Melta Tacs can kill tanks AND cap. Traitor Assaults and Slugga Boyz can murder heavies AND cap. That dramatically increases the chances of them being somewhere they can be of use.
Thank you OP. Orks are always a blast to talk to after a game. Hate fighting them, it's an awful experience as I feel helpless and confused in doing so but, most Ork players are always good sports afterwords with their jokes and GG's
