A light dusting of snow gave proof that the storm of the morning had been going on for a while. It was a gentle snow, the flakes falling slowly to the ground. The merchants were just beginning to open up for the day's business, as was the Arena. Various warriors of every race and type flocked for today, a day when the arena opened for an open tournament for a grand prize. Not every warrior that arrived was interested in fighting, but simply wished to enjoy spectation.

There was also another group taking advantage of today. The Tamriel Mercenary Association was formed years ago due to an influx of various civilian issues that were not large or notable enough for various guilds or governments to take notice of. They gathered official bounties and rumors of jobs, distributing them to various groups and adventurers for a monthly cut of gold. As a reward, the names are put out into the world. Once a name is renowned enough to be asked for on their own, said group is given the option to pay a lump sum for assistance in building a base of operations and other setup. Otherwise, the contract is always able to be voided.

On this particular day, three agents of the TMA, the corporation rather well-known by now, stood outside the Arena, searching for individuals and groups who wished to join. A Bosmer, a Nord and an Altmer were set up in the center of an open circular table, calling out and assisting.

"It is an ungodly hour to be this loud," Linevi remarked with an idle sneer, regarding the various peddlers and stall owners disdainfully. Hailing from the reclusive House Telvanni holdings of Morrowind, the dunmer was less than appreciative of the bumbling, bustling Imperial City. She'd opted to keep the hood of her traveller's cloak up, for the sake of fending off the early-morning chill, bundled up within her furs to offer her some meagre compensation for leaving the warmth of the tavern in which their little party of four had spent the night. Her blood-red eyes fixed on their objective, the TMA recruiters, with a satisfied glint in them.
  3. @Kalle & @Keidivh & @TuskatheDaemonKilla | With his dagger in hand, a decent-sized chunk of meat impaled on the blade, Madril turned his gaze on the trio seeming to make the most noise in the street, an almost-sneer appearing on his face at the sight of the Nord. Glancing at his companions, a younger dunmer female and two humans from northern Tamriel, the ranger took a bite of the meat, irritated that it wasn't horse.
    "Shall we approach them?"
He wasn't as bothered by the cold as the other dunmer, having spent most of his time wandering the desolate countrysides of Morrowind, but the sheer amount of people was a new experience.
  4. (Swear to god I did not get an alert when this was posted)
Norbin shrugged at theDunmer's question as he brought his drink to his mouth. "Maybe, they might be TMA recruiters given what the're shouting." He downed the drink's contents and put the tankard onto the table. He leaned back in his chair in a manner not really expected of a Breton Mage that he claimed he was. In truth he had stolen the robes off of a cloths line outside of town and under the were weapons more fit for the kind of savage beast that lurked in him. He hadn't changed in months since he got into Cyrodiil after years of being stuck with lycanthropy he had finally found some form of control over it. Though he had to admit the process of preventing a change during a full moon was unpleasant it most certainly was better than slaughtering an entire town overnight and being stuck with what's left when he woke up.

Rolard was leaning against one the multiple stalls in the overcrowded Arena District of the grand and overwhelming Imperial City. The smell of blood, sweat, perfumes, spices and goods filled the air in a odor both noxious yet intoxicating. Only the Imperials could make a city as beautiful and putrid as this place. A small chuckle escaped his lips at the thought. Put even Wayrest or Daggerfall to shame.

Upon hearing the male Dunmer and his fellow Breton speak his eyes drifted over to the screaming fools trying to attract the uncaring crowds. "Quite the eloquent speakers are they not?" He said towards his companions, a smirk playing at his lips. The thought that he had to work for such simpletons was infuriating to Rolard. He had led expeditions into the bloody Wrothgrians for Divines sake! But the thought his little sister, living in a cramped house, working as a servant girl for some fat, privileged excuse for a lord. To give his Snowflake a better life he'd give everything. And destroy everything in his way.

"Well, let's not keep these"fine" folk waiting my friends!" With that he began to walk towards the shouting recruiters. He looked back at his motley crew. It was amazing happenstance that this occurred, just meeting together in one tavern at the same time. The Divines worked in mysterious ways. Stendarr help him...

The bosmer at the table glanced around, and his eyes fell upon a group of four. Two Dunmer and two Bretons. interesting, and not a group that one would see out of the particular profession. "Hey! Over here!" he called, waving to the group.

If they came over, he would have a wide grin on his face. "So, you look like you've decided to start working for the people, and yourselves! The TMA would be happy to sponsor you, we only need a few questions answered and signatures from the founding members!"

The paper would outline a basic TMA contract. The group would be given contracts based on evaluations from past contracts. A 10% cut of gold from contracts per month, a minimum of 100 septims. The contract can be voided by choice at any point with a 'fee' of 100 gold. After the group has been asked for by name a multitude of times in a single month, a TMA agent will come by to ask about plans for a base of operations and a lump sum dependant on what was asked.

At the bottom was a space for a group name, and signatures from the founding members. In this case, the four at the table.

Rolard internally rolled his eyes at this mans overly flamboyant greeting. Truly they must be desperate for sellswords to put on such a display.

    < @Kalle @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Avenging-Angel >
    "
At ease lad." He said as he waved him down. "I'm Rolard Seton, these here are my companions. Say hello to the good man everybody!" He looked back at the group chuckling slightly, knowing that the Dunmer would be less than enthusiast with introductions.

While introductions were done, Rolard took a moment to look over the contract. Decent pay, good benefits if we do our job. Whether or not they'll be good on their word or not is another question.

Giving an approving nod, he turned to the others. "Contract seems solid, long as they uphold their end, we'll make a decent earning. Ready to go see the world?" A curious and excited smile grew across his face, regardless of the pay, he had a feeling the contracts would be fun!
  8. Norbin got up from his seat and followed Rolard but not before grabbing a carrot and chicken leg from his plate. He started on the leg as they walked over and finished by the time the man gave them the contract. "So the thing says we need a name what do you think?"he placed the carrot in his mouth and began chewing. This was getting better by the minute first a group to roam around with and now a contract with the TMA maybe he should have pretended to be a mage years ago.

The two Bretons led their advance, and Linevi followed. The she-elf privately thought the robed fellow ate like a pig, but such was only to be expected from men. With a confident stride, and her hands dug into her armpits for warmth, she approached the table, and allowed the men to do the talking. When Rolard brought the sheet of parchment to her attention, she snatched it out of his hand and read it speedily. "The conditions are acceptable, I suppose," she drawled, loath to give the recruiters the impression that they had anything she wanted. Of course she wanted gold, any sensible creature did, but she wasn't about to show them that she was interested.
  10. @BadDo9 & @Kalle & @Keidivh & @TuskatheDaemonKilla | Trailing behind the rest of the group, a wary eye on the grinning Bosmer, Madril took the contract from Linevi, scanning the words on the paper for himself. Everything seemed satisfactory to the ranger and he glanced again at the recruiters and then the others.
    "A group name?"
