Best moment-Realization that EC will never offer anything other than a playground for sealclubbers.

Best- playing on the balcony at b on black bolt as a tatical and single handily killing 8 loyalists 3with a knife and the rest with my plasma gun, then getting called a hacker at the end of the match.

Worst-having my entire squad of 10 spawn as veterans in a rino only to have it ram into an object skyrocketing us out of bounds and killing all of us

My best was playing a game vs CSM as Eldar.
They caped the last point with 95% of the victory bar full, but suddently we started to ninja-cap each point with quick strikes. They weren't able to fill that 5% and we won. Huge adrenaline rush in those last 5 minutes.

My worst was playing vs CSM as Ork, at blackbolt.
The CSM were a full guild and we were less players (as usual with orks). The guild deployed a full wall of Autocannons over the walls and a predator blocking the left path, all firing to our respawn point.
Most of the ork players couldn't even arrive to the wall. That guild was able to transform an unbalanced game into an unfun game.

Oh, and I have a fun + unfun at the same time :D
Playing as ork, I deployed a trukk and my team deployed with me. But for some reason my FPS droped to 1 while the transport was deploying and moved forward without me noticing anything. The trukk fell through a chasm and we all died.

Making a sharp turn in a Trukk and it started flipping and rolling across the ground and killing seven space marines in the process.

I have many great moments as an LSM. But heretically enough my best moment comes from playing Eldar filth.

We'd been on a 9 game lose streak during one of the campaigns. Eldar Vs. LSM on Torias after 1.3.something had dropped. Tempers were high and one guy really wasn't helping. After bitching for the last five games he became squad leader after blaming our players for acting like morons because we were following squad orders. He gives us one order, then runs off with a small group to attack another point while me and one other person stay at the point he actually pinged. We lost that point and after losing A and C within the first two minutes of the match with B heavily pressured he says fuck you to everyone and leaves but not before whining about not being able to get his last campaign win.

I am made the new squad leader and am so suck of whining I say I don't fucking care about your whining Eldars, I care about solutions. Immediately I command the squads to condense and once they are formed I order alpha squad to C for a retake and hold while my own squad, bravo, is ordered to hold onto B like it's the last fucking soulstone needed to complete Ynnead. I also ordered charlie to attack A and harass them but charlie wanted to do whatever the fuck charlie wanted to do. We hold. Five minutes. Ten minutes. Alpha had managed to take back C and bravo was weathering an assault by an unending horde of LSM thanks to rhinos we couldn't even get outside to destroy. Time passes, they start capping C back but alpha keeps them off completing it until finally they can't anymore. They even managed to get in and start capping B, got so close you'd have sworn it was over but just as they'd cleared us out the bulk of our squad respawned and drowned them in shuriken fire, interrupting the cap just barely in time. At this point there are three minutes left and the bar is around 80% full. Lone dire avengers harass the enemy with constant cap starts at C courtesy of 2 alpha squad guys while the bulk fall back onto B defence. With two minutes to go I order the full scale retreat of the Eldar to B as the Marines launch their desperate assaults at us. We fought tooth and nail, a storm of shuriken fire and bolter shells engulfed the point as a single dire avenger led a dying race to prove that even when all seems lost hope is still something the mayfly races cannot extinguish in the hearts and souls of the Eldar. The match ended with 95-98% of the bar fill

(If anyone would like to draw something of a brave avenger wielding Asuryans Fury while standing on the heap of fallen space marines against a dark and stormy torias backdrop, now would be the time.)

We emerged victorious that day, our team drunk on our victory was heckled by marines among the usual GG's.

That was the day I felt truly alive, because it shows that a good leader can turn even the darkest games into sudden victory. I don't claim to be a good leader, but by Isha I was like a man possessed by the spirit of Khaine himself.

As for my worst moment....I would say it's more of a reoccuring personal flaw than a single bad moment in EC. When I'm made squad leader right off the bat I'll command my squad to defend or take and hold a point. Most choose to run off once the point looks secure and I can't blame them but when we are standing around defending and another point comes under attack then I have the power to actually do something. Making the choice of stay and defend or divert to assist and risk weakening our defence. It's one thing when no one listens, it's another when they listen and you don't know what to do. I freeze up. By the time I've usually decided that we need to help the enemy is already digging in at 75% of the point capture. Then I feel like a complete failure for not reacting fast enough.

Best Moment: At least that I can remember recently, I was playing Chaos as a Nurgle traitor. Got my rusty bolter and AIDS knife to boot. So, we're attacking Blackbolt against LSM and my team does the predictable newbie tactic of all piling onto A point. I decide to take a rhino up the left path and head for C.

There were two other CSM in the trukk with me at first but they bailed out early and ran off somewhere. Up to C I go alone with the plan of distracting the enemy by starting a cap up top. Get up there, no surprise, it's completely undefended. My capture gets about half way done before anyone shows up which would happen to be a tactical, an apothecary, and a shield bro. Now I'm hiding behind the back door frame waiting for such people to show up. I wait til one of them starts the de-cap and throw my blight grenade right on them. Hits all three of the LSM which causes the medic and GA to roll away while the tactical stays to try and decap. I gun him down quick as the shield bro starts hammering on me.

Manage to parry him just right so his back is directly in front of the apothecary blocking his shot then I roll back out the door I came in. Shield bro tries to attack me but he clangs on the wall. Now I'm not sure what happened to him afterwards because I ran out a bit further from the capture point expecting him to follow me but he never came out. So, I run back in to see the apothecary trying to revive the tactical I killed first and then gun him down before he can. Another tactical has come in to join the fight at this point and starts shooting me. There is a box nearby I hug to get some cover then pop out to drop him with some headshots.

Then I notice the shield bro is by the capture point trying to stop my capture so I run over and knife him in the back twice. He rolls away and I shoot him just as his animation is over killing him. Capture point is now under our control and two more marines come in to try and take it back. I take some hits from one of them but using the capture point as cover I manage to out shoot him just enough. Second marine is a devastator with a heavy bolter who braces on the east side barrier and starts blasting away as soon as I drop his friend.

His bullets almost finish me off but I manage to roll into cover just in time to heal up. I decide the best course to engage him is to flank from the left and charge in with my knife. A bit risky as he could kill me fast enough if he notices in time but if I get in he's done for. So, I circle around the wall to the left then book it hoping his firing angle is poor enough he can't shoot me. Well, it was a close estimation but he just had enough space to turn and blast me. Luckily, I only lose my armor before I get in and power attack him to death.

I haven't been able to wipe out that many people by myself in quite awhile. That solo capture caused our team to sweep the whole base easily as they took A while I was fighting there. B went down easy as I dropped in from the roof to sneak a cap while 3 LSM were busy fighting/healing.

Worst Moment: At Medusa I'm playing Orks on my slugga boy trying to defend B by myself. 3 CSM come in to capture the point so I come out of my hiding spot behind one of the machines in the middle of the room. My plan is to toss a grenade onto the marine capturing, take out the sorcerer while they roll away, then kill the havoc with them, then the traitor assault who was capping.

What actually happens is I miss my grenade which falls a little too far from the guy capturing, I panic and rush him to hit him, and my own grenade blows up on me. TA finishes capping, turns around, and murders my dumb ass.

Oy, that was quite embarrassing.

My Recording software was having difficulty for some reason. I was playing at 60 FPS+ at the time.
