You are a group of diplomats, or the guards of said diplomats, but you are not typical diplomats. Maybe more of a bad company then Suicide Squad I guess. But in the end its up to the players and their back stories, I merely provide the framework for the story.

I cannot Tau, so forgive me if I don't do this all correctly.

If this is the Suicide Squad, I have the option of going King Shark or Deadshot. Kroot or Fireblade. Ain't that sumthin'.

SO how about a trusted Mercenary group that often works with the Tau for a back story? Trades the tau work for supplys and weapons.

Could just go for T'au but I personally like the Dyanoi symbol the best I don't know too much about the individual septs so i probably won't be too much help here

That's a good question, probably Tau armor/captured human gear. You may start as a prisoner, haven't decided on that yet.
