Welp, depending on who goes what I'm more than happy to play either a Pathfinder or a Kroot. Enjoy diverse groups.
Name: Shas'la'Fal'shia'Len'ra (Cautious Warrior) Age: 14 Race: Tau Caste: Fire Caste Position: Fire Warrior Gender: Female Sept/Homeworld: Fal'shia Starting Location: Orbit - Kor'vattra Current Rank: Shas'la Length of Time at Current Rank: ~4 weeks Background/Personality: Like her name suggest, Len'ra is a very cautious warrior that does not like to take risks. It is one thing to die for the Tau'va, it is another thing to not want to die. It is not so much the fear of dying, but rather that she thinks that cautious approaches can save lives and therefor she prefers the Kauyon over the Mont'ka all the time. Why endanger yourself with a straight-forward attack if you can trick your enemy in even destroying themselves? She is the typical Shas'la age, but her inexperience is showing quite often and she speaks little, which goes back to her caution that even extends on a social level. She doesn't want to make friends or so, just to see them die. It is easier to be at peace with your mind and soul if you do not know too much of others. But her duty is clear and the Tau'va of course comes first. Equipment: Pulse Rifle, Firewarrior Armor, Shas'la Helmet, Bonding Knife, 2 Photon Grenades Background Story: Len'ra was a recent addition to Montys squad to construct his new squad for the hunter cadre. Before she served under a Commander that was known for his expertise in the ways of Kauyon, the Patient Hunter, and embraced the tactics even before then back the Fire Warrior Academies. It was simply in her blood to do a cautious approach rather than trying to crush all at once. In her heart, the tactics of Mont'ka was just making war like the barbaric Orks and the Humans of the Imperium. Kill for the sake of killing. She understood that both tactics had their advantages and disadvantages, the third expansion shows it clearly. But caution was always the better option for her, to play it safe and rely on what is at hand, not make wild guesses and think of possibilities. This was expressed during the first battles when she became a Shas'la. Never exposing herself beyond cover except she knew she could take a shot, relying more on grenades to drive enemies out of cover rather than burst-fires in attempt to kill them. She was a talented marksman and therefor nobody forced her to change. Once enemies were without cover or flanked, there was no hope to escape her Pulse Rifle, and that is what kept her alive so far.
In my experience (Soul of the Infinite Stars), when I make two characters I end up only giving one proper attention and love. So I'll avoid that and just wait to see what everyone else makes before I throw in an official decision.
OOC: Just trying to keep the numbers of PF & FW players equivalent! .... But I can change in case we get a couple of FW.
