I suppose the RP will start tomorrow since we got quite quickly a bunch of players together just try to write more than 4 lines per post and (sry if I offend anyone) not so much like Imperial Guard / Colony RP, Second Least Serious RP, etc. I would love the Tau RP to become something deeper like Aidas Eldar RP - And even with the lack of knowledge you can do so by learning, focusing on the little details, monologues, etc.
i like the idea.... time to get my imagination flowing, i warn you though, im currently on vacation on an old laptop.... i miss my PC, only bad thing about the trip anyway, since im on vacation my times that i check the forum will vary wildly until Monday, but ill try to make up for that with longer posts since you gave us some more autonomy with the actions and such
ohhh, question, you said something about us having more freedom over our character advancement right? do you mean something like at the end of each mission we get to upgrade equipment and perks or am i over thinking it?
You are over thinking it ^^ I mean more personal freedom. I.E. Actions, Plot Advance, etc. I don't think there is much need for char development as in equipment and I don't want it too much. Additional equipment and new access to new weapons should be special and not after each single mission. Especially since as said: I would love to focus more on player interaction and make it deeper than just pew pew boom boom
any female characters my fire warrior can shamelessly flirt with then (obviously no one in charge of anything)? that would make an interesting/maybe sometimes funny sideplot
You may assume that Tau have relationships even during battles / campaigns due to their short lifespan. Just keep in mind that Beyond-Caste relationships are FORBIDDEN. Fire Caste with Fire Caste, Air Caste with Air Caste, etc. Main reason is due to their physiology. Earth Caste members are smaller but 'bulkier', whereas Air Caste members are very thin and high grown and Water Caste are somewhat a mix of Fire and Air Caste. Links = Pictures
