"I'm just glad we didn't lose any pilots, no offense but it going to be harder to get air caste then slow-as-sirup human pilots. If all castes were simply to learn the truth..." An improbable proposition, but maybe one day not so much.
"so.... these warriors? are they intelligent or... feral.... shall we say? i mean can we talk to them or no?" *he said looking at Niner*
"I am not sure the information we have on them is little and I mostly know its a primive world and there human."
OOC wait we. i was waiting for us to get into the system and see where the signal why the signal was sent As they arrived niner began having the teams set up the kroot where to deploy besides the gue'vas to search for the destress signal with them 5 firewarriors for fire support and the kroot for close range. then on the ground they were to head to the distress signal and aid and *recruit* whoever sent the signal durring this time the kroot could also hunt the beasts on the plant to grow stronger.
OOC: ...... *shrug* xD Let's just get going The Distress signal came from the center of the jungle in the middle of nowhere, definite Imperial though. Perhaps some kind of expedition force or training routine gone wrong or something. Though why then a distress signal and not just simply contact the city of the planet?
Kleck and his pack were eager for the hunt, as the Orca carried their team down they paced restlessly back and forth having broken from their seats and restraints. When the calls came in that they were nearing planet fall Kleck roared for the others attention, drawing both his knives he pushed his way through the other Kroot with both his hounds stalking along. Once the ramp began to lower to allow deployment they hurled themselves up at the opening, climbing out while the rest were still getting up. Kleck had a communicator, that was enough for him and immediately he divided up his pack. Two groups with a hound each and roughly even numbers of carnivores their primary goal was the distress signal but they would take a long winding path toward it to explore the planet and get to grips with it's flora and fauna. "We go. Find prey, essence, feast if worthy. Stick to trees, follow hounds. " They broke off from the rest, disappearing into the land scape as if they were a part of it, the hunt was on.
"What? Another assignment? So soon?" Copper was... not amused. In fact, he was fairly discontent. He had just gotten hurt and his arm fixed, and now he was supposed to get into combat again? Ah, maybe it was too late to worry about this now, considering he had already boarded the Orca and they were on their best way to the planet's Surface. Checking his lasgun and securing his flak armour one last time, he sighed. Of course, the Greater Good was worth fighting for in a way, but still, he didn't like combat that much either. Winking to a female Gue'vesa, who turned away with an annoyed sigh, he got ready for touchdown.
Before landing: "Pilots! Down in the hangar, 10 minutes!" He wished the captain would give them more time to prepare, but it was hard to predict when exactly the warp would spit them out in each dive. Jim himself got to the sunshark first and pulled off his exo-suit, useful as it was in gravity enviroments it merely hindered him when flying. Soon enough all pilots had arrived and after pre-flight checks they launched in front of the orcas to provide some protection against any fighters. Landing: While kroot and fire warriors got off the orcas and pursued their goals, the sunshark stayed in the air. He didn't want to get ambushed without any ground support, but then again the piratical ground forces will probably need some sort of air support. With a sigh he ordered the ship to land in between the other orcas, burst cannons should be able to give them enough protection from wild animals and any poorly equipped patrols.
