I think they cant build the big ones or at least certain classes of ships. And they can also use "captured" or "liberated" ships no?

    Hmm no clue atm.
  3. We have unknown amounts of previous Imperial worlds in our control, two bare minimum. We wrested control of Taros (a mining world, now renamed to T'ros) in M41.998 and Prefectia (a fortress world, now renamed to Vas'talos). Both were during the dawn of the Third Sphere expansion, but (supposedly) many others were subsumed or traded with all the way back to the Second Sphere expansion 200 years prior. These two that I've mentioned are notable enough to have drawn Imperial support, but I, too, am unsure if we managed to pull any surviving ships/crew from these conflicts.

    Don't forget Agrellan/Mu'gulath Bay
  5. Ah yes, don't know how I could've forgotten the hive world. Hmm...that's a large population center...though Imperial tactical barbarity subjected much of the planet to ruination through "exterminatus."

In any case, I doubt we would be able to coerce or properly utilize Gue'la technology from Mu'gulath Bay within a single Tau'cyr. *ahem* Excuse me, one Imperial year. The time for mobilization towards Arkhona would have to be incredibly fast after such an engagement, assuming the Akhonian conflict is indeed at the turn of the milennia.

EDIT: And yes, as stated below, the Tau would have NO reason to cross the entire galaxy to get to some back-system fortress world, so let that be the final nail in the coffin for us showing up out of the blue on defector Imperial ships.

Why would someone go somewhere, when someone doesn't know that somewhere exists.

Maybe Dorothy has an answer for us...(*whisper* Warpstorm)

Because perhaps Tau are the faction that most fans want as the 5th faction?Or at least that was the case last time i checked feel free to correct if im wrong.

I'm "pro Tau" just tryed to point out, how would the Tau know from Arkhona and why would they try to go there - if not by accident/force.

...Well we can always have a certain pointy ear d!ck mess with them because of some prophecy or something ,right?

Is the Tau/Eldar fluff connection not a thing anymore? (Been awhile since I read that Xenos Dissectors Manual though)

Cause that seems like a pretty reasonable way to get the Tau somewhere. We have the rumors that Eldar "created" the Etherals as a weapon against Chaos, makes sense they might ally with them and bring some in to contest a heavy Chaos region.

I don't know much about the webway though. Eldar were never my jam.
