All their incantations and crap to call upon miracles, could come off as superstition and psykerish to the BT, which would explain why they are listed as reluctant allies.
No. Anyone thinking the SoB are psykers are absurd. The Space Marines might not share their counterparts' fervor when it comes to the Emperor, but they certainly don't question their purity.
They don't have to doubt their purity to think they're crazy. Obviously GM thinks there's something about them the BT don't like. Sibling Rivalry?
In order to get back to the topic guys... I'd say for the game's sake we can ignore basically everything. If the Orks are starting a new campaign that's about to wipe us off the entire crusade, I couldn't care less if I have to join some xenos or loyalists simply because the lore would say otherwise. Gameplay comes first, everything else is optional. Unless there's a need for it, however, the only ally I know is another heretic prepared for all out war, ready to slaughter everyone who hasn't realised yet, that Chaos is the only true answer.
Well of course the players would decide to team up to kill a bunch of greenskins. I don't see anything wrong with that
Now that i think about it i feel bad for the orc and free players because once its out everyone wants to kill them and adding to that it would be really really easy to ally up against them all you have to say is 2 things to have a good reason to ally aginst them. 1. There orcs ( very annoying ) 2. There are a lot of F2P's to kill ( paid tend to hate F2P for some reason? )
Think about it. In any game, if someone just walks upon a battlefield with load of bling, gold whatever etc, and he's a paid player, and you're a free to play player forced to have the basic necessities, wouldn't that make you want to tag along with other free to plays and kill the paid player? Or is that just me? Also isn't this thread about Tau and Chaos, rather then Orkz?
Well, I think that there are two reasons why they won't be treated any differently. First of all, most people here are looking after the greater good of their faction. I don't think that people will be harassing the Orks when, for example, the Space Marines are the ones nearly conquering all of the map. Heck, in that case I'd tell my Council that they should give them xenos a sweet alliance and we should focus on the loyalists. The second reason is that Orks are not only a very popular race, but they'll also get the advantage of having more people due to the F2P system. Now I don't know whether or not that will give them a numerous advantage over the Space Marines for example, who seem to enjoy having the major part of our players, but it'll give them at least something to fight back. All in all: Noone will start attacking the Orks without valid reason, if there's another thread and if someone does, he is in for a green surprise.
I don't see how it could be taken into offense it may be bad analogy but i see nothing wrong with it?
