Invulnerable Saves: As long as the Eldar moves, he has an X% chance to completely negate a hit. Can be boosted by holo-shields.

    Problem solved.
  2. that would just change the combat style from skill based to luck based ^^
  3. I mean if we doing x% to ignore stuff, the Orkz that get painted black have a x% to not take dmg, blue orks havee x% chance bonus dmg, red ones get x% chance to get a boost in fire rate and purple orks have x% chance of doin nuthin cuz day aint no purpla orkz!

In the last twitch, the Devs did say we would be looked after. So I guess it's a wait and see now. ;)

Thanks for asking the question in the twitch.
  6. "Target lock" should be an assist at best, rather than doing all the work for you. In fact you should be encouraged to manually aim against hard to hit targets.
  7. Oh wait this topic gives me some interesting idea.

How about we use this "target lock" feature for specific weapons instead of adding it for combat standard feature.
I play the Warhammer 40k table top.
So the "target lock" feature can be given to weapons like the eldar "scatter laser" from the 6th edition codex.
So the "target lock" feature will be turned on if you are shooting with this weapon.

Or if the game finally includes the Tau.
"Marker lights" instead can cause/trigger "target lock" feature for anything that shoots at the "marker lighted" targets but it does not effect melee combats (so you still have to aim that sword manually in melee)

Target lock with ranged guns gets too close to no skill in a skill based game. But still to go on that, Section 8 had limited lock on for gunplay. Had a meter when using, here's a short video showing it but it doesn't show intense action. In my experience it was used to start or finish firefights. The Swooping Hawks class has been described in a livestream as more of a harasser unit with lasguns so maybe they're weak enough to allow experimentation with such a feature. I don't think it would stick though.
    Dragonkindred likes this.

omg you just had to go remind me that game existed in my steam library..

was actually pretty fun, if short lived.
  10. i would be happier when the combat system similar one with Warframe, you look and hit/shoot where you see/aim manualy.
I am ok with the close range auto target, but the next problem is, targeting is take time, you reagate slower than manual aim when you want to switching target.
