Weell. While the talon was a symbol and a powerfull weapon, Horus most powerfull weapon was the world breaker. Also, the only reason abbadon can carry it is becouse he is very chaos favored and wearing ancient terminator armour, a human simply cant dream of carrying it. Lexi qoute. It is assumed that the claw, used in conjunction with the daemon sword Drach'nyen, covers Abaddon's ranged abilities and confers the same benefits as a standard lightning claw.
Well an ogryn using it would be a supremely bad idea. The only reason it was a deadly weapon was becouse horus was extremely skilled. It was not of surperior craftsmanship like. World breaker, dawnbringer or anything created by ferrus manus. Ogryns are too fat slow and stupid to use a lighting claw with any real effect
Wouldent be anything special. Its Barely special in the hand of abbaddon, so a roided up quadruple bonehead surgery suvivor, would bare be able to use it Betyer Then a regular powerclaw with bolters on it.
It would currupt anyone who touches it, but that weapon is his true power. There you Got an extremely powerfull deamonblade that cuts through everything in one sweep
Well it is also the master crafted weapon of Horus though, I just checked lightning claw rules in deathwatch and they actually also increase damage by one per degree of success, 2 points if you have dual claws. That's probably the best place to modify damage actually. However I do agree with you Graal, Drach'nyen is a much bigger deal than the claw. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Drach'nyen
Chainfist = Power Fist + Chain-attachment. It's the strongest melee weapon a marine can get and is usually only terminator-worn. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Chainfist
