I feel ya. I come to these forums spreading goodwill with ideas in hopes of a better EC, only to be shot down by "You spend to much effort." or "They will never read this". I try to be a fountain of hope, but people just seem so keen on draining the waters dry.
I have no issue with posts about ideas or constructive feedback. Just tired of seeing posts bashing the Dev team as if they will somehow miraculously cause a 9 man team to put out a 30 man work effort. It's stupid.
Promises've been made, promises've been broken. So much times that i don't think i could even count. People just do not like that. Compassion? Didn't see any for broken hopes of people bought this thing. Understanding what? Lying? Inability? Profaneness? I do not think it is in the ways of logic and common sence to constantly overlook continuous failures. And the attitude devs show us constantly.
It certainly is a love/hate relationship for me. Well not hate exactly but disappointment it could be so much more.
The threads that bother me are those of pure bashing, not even any suggestion, just bashing. Its good to give the devs a little smack on the bum but without telling them what we want we will be just swimming in circles. Need to tell them to improve the systems they have or they will think its good enough and never look back.
People act like Devs set out to make a sub par game on purpose. I can assure you that, as someone who has done game artwork and whatnot, that no one is more disappointed with the product that the people making it when it doesn't live up to expectations. Unfortunately, they are not in control of the money or deadlines.
I can understand some things that no one can do something about. Force majeure. What i do not understand is the attitude. Patch notes is fine example. There are a lot of other things i just don't want to go about all this stuff in depth. It is annoying. Watching twitch, reading forum, seeing devs reaction ond more importantly - their actions, all my compassion fades away. Simple as that.
They paid money's so they are entitled to spam posting... Did you not get the memo? Also everything you spent money on directly goes to Noah's pockets. Also refund spam. Am just rehashing what is to come... So we can avoid that spam xD
EC is horrendously sub par for what it could be, I think that is where the anger lies. And yes it's hard being a dev sometimes but come on, I have followed games from their birth to many years after and never seen anything as bad and as incompetent as this. Its got to a point now, they don't even seem to care.
