I do not get the constant salt and rage posts on these forums at the Devs. What do you hope to gain by this? Do you think that if you put enough rage on the forums that you'll suddenly inspire Noah or Chan to heights of frenzied work? That they'll finally admit they have a Hyperbolic Time Chamber(muh DBZ) and go in for 24 hours and come out with 5 years of Dev work? That if you rage at Nathan enough suddenly his budget finds a few million laying around to hire AAA Devs and go balls out on content? The Dev team is small now, barebones really. This is probably never going to change unless it gets smaller or the game dies. Accept this fact. Now take a step back and look at your hours played. How many do you have? How much have you spent on this game? Compare that to the hours played/money spent on your other games. My bet is most of you will find a very good Hours to Money spent ratio. Game couldn't have been THAT bad if you spent all these hours here. If you say "but Dread, I'm still unhappy even after these thoughts and realizations" then I say to you two things: 1. Maybe you're just burnt out, it happens. Take a break and play something else for a bit, come back refreshed. 2. You truly are just unhappy with what the games current state is. Take a break and check back in on patches. Making thread after thread rehashing the same shit is so old. I love me some shitposting as many of you know, but these threads are worse than shitpost tier. They're just garbage clogging forums. If you got an actual constructive feedback idea/discussion GREAT let's get those going(or a quality shitpost, I'm there). Otherwise? Just take a break please. We do our game no good sitting here constantly ragging on it and the Dev team in the forums.
Your asking for 3 things that will never happen mate 1) logic and common sense application 2) compassion and understanding 3) people to stop being salty A break may help but they are more content to yes that break to build more salt FOR TEH SALT GODZ. Would be funny if dev team stops streams with reason of too much salt and abuse as a joke because them doing stream is a service the community dose not seem to appricate.
I just want a decent 40k game to mess about on and play casually while not playing as a space marine which sucks, fantasy has a few that comes to mind but not for 40k. Good advice though, ESO and Dirty Bomb have been enjoyable thus far after playing EC only during campaigns.
I get that man, my first TT armies were Eldar and Tyranids. Eldar are ok and the other well...never gonna happen in this game haha. That being said I'm fairly confident in saying that Orks are the strongest faction right now so, outside of a few QoL animation hiccups, play to your green hearts content(Eldar aint too shabby either, just got a case of the cosmetic blues still). Also your sig isn't showing for me, whatever shall I do without my daily dose of XiO siggies?
Agree, though when you're in a pattern of going hardcore on any game it's hard to stop and smell the roses. I play 10 hrs or less per week and I haven't really gotten burned out yet. It also helps that lately I've just been dinking around with classes/weapons I usually never use. Take breaks and switch it up, keeps things mildly fresh. Side note, I'm sad to see Orpheus go..."I HAD TACO BELLLL FOR LUNCH!"
Yup been messing about with the rokkit launcha while winning gun fights against cappers and sometimes apothecaries with the dakka slugga, my only complaint is the Ork camera making it hard to see my pirate hat at times lol
I'd do dat, but wif ideas and such on da forums. Ideas er feedback usually eitha' get shot down er ignored completely which makes constantly botharin' tryin' ta' come up wif such thin's feel pointless, even if'n it be dun made in yer spare time
Can confirm this. Took a 2-3 Weeks break from playing EC. Not much has changed sadly, but at least im back into the fray and happy bout it ^^
I prefer salty players over white knights. Not much is more annoying on a forum than some player acting like a camp counselor and telling other players how they should act or feel about a service they bought from a content provider. You take a break. The devs are here. They speak for themselves. If they don't like all the salt, then they will start removing the salty posts.
I've always wondered if it was meant to be a 'Hyperbaric Time Chamber' (since that would be logical) and was mistranslated, or if it was a deliberate pun, sort of like if they'd called it a 'Deus Ex Machine'.
