So I know we have the Temporary fps solution thread, but I thought it might be useful to have a thread where people list what system they're running and what they've done to get a playable framerate, personally I've lost count of the combinations I've tried to get a decent playable configuration but I'm still stuck at 9-11 fps, and waiting for an optimized release. At least if we have a list for people to find a similar spec to theirs, and a successful solution, then less people will become frustrated and abandon the crusade! I'm guessing it will be mainly Amd CPU users that have had to do the most messing around.....
I have an i5-4440, 8 gigs of ram and a AMD r7 200 series and run the game at the second lowest setting at 30 FPS with no fancy programs or settings tweaking shenanigans
UE4 and AMD CPUs have had a spat with each other. Lots of reports from other UE4 games saying AMD CPUs get the short end of the stick. But apparently, reportedly, UE4 has made nice with AMD CPUs like a week or two ago so hopefully sometime this month we'll start seeing improves for AMD users.
Processor AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Memory 8.0 GB Running at 20 - 30 FPS with a full server, no matter the setting. If I'm lucky and there are only 20 people on my FPS goes to around 40-50 and that point it feels like the Emperor himself has blessed me and then more people log in and my FPS gets drained again, along with my mjod flask. *hic*
