Hey this has probably been asked before, but I was wondering how much it will take to run Eternal crusade on low/medium/high quality. It would be great if you can optimize the game so many more people can play!
No specs out yet. The graphics engine is still being worked into the game in some areas and they havnt announced it. We talked to Patrick (lead programmer) and he assures us the game will be fully optimizable.
Mine runs Crysis3 at ultra, no frame drops (except for the very start with all the rain). But be careful, with the current, more advanced graphics engines, they like to chow down on your gpu. If you are looking for a pc tester, and a fun game to play, try shadow of mordor, it may crash on ultra settings, but its a good tester to see if your pc will handle more advanced, demanding games.
The FAQ is your friend. Q: What are the minimum specs for the game? A: The minimum requirements are: CPU: INTEL Core i5-750 or similar GPU: NVidia GTX 660+ or similar Memory: 8 GB DDR3 Hard Drive: 50GB Free Disc Space OS: 64-bit Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, SteamOS, MacOS X 10.9) https://www.eternalcrusade.com/faq
Woo 50 gigs of free hard drive space? Christ guys, I think someone needs to come up with some new compression architecture. That'd make bank because this stuff is getting crazy. I assume they'll be throwing in compatiablity with windows 9/10 or whatever windows madness is unleashing next.
I think that's just a current estimate, based on the graphics engine and what is going to be client side. So I doubt its 50gb, and with Patricks optimisation, it should work out alright.
Jesus christ... GTX 660+ ???? holy balls.. I have a 680 and that's like considered a good card especially for the average gamer.. geez there's going to be like 100 people able to play... lolol
If the game releases on 2016 the 680 will be a 4 years old card... anyway the lead programmer said that you should be able to run the game properly with a 660, not like other games that are unplayable with the minimum requirements.
