Hello, i am new here, i am not sure if game is available for people who paid yet. I would like to buy it but i found this in FAQ: The minimum requirements are: CPU: AMD FX-8120 – 3.1GHz(Zambezi) MB: M5A78L-M (socket AM3) RAM: 4gig DDR3 PC3-10700 (667MHz) HD: 50GB Free Disc Space VGA: GeForce GTX 750 Ti OS: 64-bit Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, SteamOS, MacOS X 10.9) If you can play this game what is your hardware? I am a bit worried about CPU and graphic card (Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz & AMD Radeon HD 5770) Since it's pre alfa will requirements be lowered over time?
I highly doubt it'll end up being a 750 as minimum. That sounds something more appropriate for recommended. That said do expect bad frames during FA regardless of how good or bad your machine may be.
The vid card might be ok but I would suggest something with a bit more kick, like a 290 or something. I would suggest a better CPU as well but that's just me.
Btw the game is not available yet if you bought it or not. closed alpha starts in around 2 weeks granting access to founders who have bought the game (or you can call it pre-investemnt on a pre-order)
Not really, the devs know they will release it on consoles and they have written down the current estimate of minimum specs, so there is no reason for us to double guess that.
There's plenty of reason to double guess that. As things are changed, tweaked, added in, removed, as the numbers of acceptable players grow in matches, if Tyranids are still going to appear in swarms (either in instances, or in the eventual open world), the acceptable draw distances to encompass the eventual larger battles when they come, and the need to make sure no one gets Guild Wars 2'd and rendered invisible... There's plenty of reason to take every single requirement with a grain of salt. Nothing is set in stone.
its best to play it safe ... mortage your house, sell your car, rent out your partner and kids and buy a decent computer from NASA, at least that way youll be sure to be able to enjoy EC at its finest ... and itll be quiet
