As it currently stands we have a 60 second preparation phase before a match starts. I have several loadouts, but due to personal preference and lack of ability with certain classes (plus the existence of kitted out presets) I many times don't equip one or classes in my active loadouts. this sometimes leads to things like having a heavy bolter on a map where I know needed a lascannon. The ten second match found timer is easy to miss when your attention wanes while queuing and the small delay between equipping or unequipping loadouts makes it hard to get what you might need and know you have.

Is there any chances of us getting the ability to swap active loadouts up to the point where the planning phase timer hits zero? I think it'd solve the problem of people feeling like they didn't have enough loadout slots and people not having the right weapons for the right map. The switching would be entirely limited to the planning phase so people couldn't just swap from lascannon their alternative multi-melta build mid-match.

In short, I think the idea of swapping active for alternative loadouts during the preparation phase would be a fairly useful and welcomed feature and hope it gets implemented as it doesn't allow for tipping balance mid match.

If anyone has any thoughts for or against this idea I'd love to hear them too.

I kinda wish you didn't lock in your loadout/class choices until you first load into a match, so you can see what map it is and have a better idea of what you might want to use and potentially communicate with your faction/squad (might not always happen but hey, one can hope) and form a rough idea of who can do what and so on.

so like it lists all your saved loadouts at the start and you click 5 and then a vet if you have one and then for the rest of the match that's your setup like normal but then next match you pick your five and your vet again.

Why not having the machine that allows to change loadouts in every starter spawn zone?

I remember i saw one in Agnathio over the walls, but now it was removed. I think the better place to have one is in saferoom on fortress and start zone, near the vehicles spawns in normal maps.

Those machines allow you to swap between active loadouts without redeploying. My suggestion was allowing us to swap active and alternative loadouts during the planning phase so we can equip the right loadout for the right map.

I'd like to be able to swap out loadouts based on opponent and map, as well as PvE, before the match starts.
