You are right about the nades, but I don't know how useful ammo kits will be, I see plenty of ammo boxes around the capture points... maybe for the attackers.
Dont forget that the Tactical will have an option to lug around two guns at the same time, huge perk if you ask me. Unless they nuked that from the game design end.
Do you play Dirty Bomb? There's a lot of ammo boxes spread around there too, but a lot of defense scenarios are decided by classes that can give their teammates ammo. You just don't have the time to move out of defensive positions to the boxes. That said, did they even put tacticals giving ammo in the game yet? I was under the impression that the ammo crates lying around were there to temporarily alleviate the current lack of ammo-returning mechanics.
True. 336 rounds in the Bolter Wonder if that will dropped for FA now the rounds do more damage at a lower RoF. They'll likely tweak the ammo reserves and crate frequency during the massed play tests. I've never Alpha'd a shooter but it seems like something to do But anyhoo I imagine the kits are valuable to Aspiring Sorcerers, Apos, Stalkers and Lascannon bearers. They seem to be the builds that are most likely to run through their charge/ammo the fastest in a given life.
I liked it too, infact so much that I will probably play the Apothecary a lot. It's really tempting, I also always liked the colour combination of white armour and coloured shoulder pads. Well, gives me something to enoy while I wait for Eldar. I just can't spend too much time on the Apothecary as I want to play Aspect Warriors later on and leave Warlocks for others. I need my shooting and melee practice.
"Death or healing..." I'm curious about Space Wolf "apothecaries" and Blood Angels. Going to pitch it as junior priests for the both of them?
