Not quiet as even if your a good tact if you DONT BLOODY USE THE F KEY TO REZ OR PICK OR EVEN HEAL PEOPLE UP then your a useless medic, your a sub par tact wana be but your a useless medic. You also dont have to be good a good support to be a good sorc/warlock (seen too many mindless healbots that cant defend them selves or use their pistols for crying out loud) but you do have to be aware, a decent melee/shot and a good warp manager to be a good sorc/warlock
Just get rid of the Bolter for Apothecary and make melee viable by undoing the last 10 months of drip, drip, drip nerfs to melee weapons and the dozens of various nerfs to melee mechanics. The Bolter Wolf Priest is one of the worst "short cuts" or sell outs I've seen in a video game. The Melee Wolf Priest with Crozius Arcanum in hand. What an awesome, really unique concept totally ruined because we can't fix melee and because axes and mauls are terrible melee weapons. "We can't fix melee so here, have a Bolter". Really? The thing that's so frustrating is that those of us who have been around for the last 3 years, that have played EC for almost 2 years, know exactly what needs to be done to make melee viable again because we've seen melee work magnificently(for the most part) in the past.
The point was more that debuffs are relegated to a different class for lsm, so its a moot point when regarding the values of apoths. Maybe i should have just said that insted of hissing at you. Maybe they just dont see the difference between F and E? They are fairly similar, as letters go.
Well duh each LSM player needs to be able to at will or it aint fair. Getting back to topic Remove bolter from apo? fine Remove heal nades/beacon ability to rez? Fine then but only if give me a ranged heal.
Forcing him and his patient to sit perfectly still begging to eat headshots which will not be outhealed. Or you can just pop the immobile Apoth in the face repeatedly.
Granted, that's an option. It still out heals the damage of a bolter if there are not headshots. Warlock heals still do not outheal a bolter fire, even if the warlock isn't staying still. Foul Regeneration from the sorcerer, on the other hand....
I honestly don't think they should nerf the apothecary, I just think that other supports need a more, effective identity. A large amount of tools that warlocks and sorcerers have are situational, but can be effective in their own right. I think our first option that everyone goes to is "NERF IT" when it could be to make the other classes just as effective.
