Super Frustrated

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Spartecus, Feb 14, 2016.

  1. Not just you, I thought I was the only one suffering this but every time I get hit in melee everything goes darker which is making it even harder to figure out what kind of move I should pull off on my opponent.
  2. Sounds like a bug. If it happens constantly I would send in a bug report via support ticket and try to describe the bug the best you can.
  3. Yup, it's a constant experience. Just sent them a bug notice, thanks.
  4. Just use a Melta and if anyone friendly gets in the way just snicker and say whoops.

i think the darker screen is a combonation of you have 1 health and being stunned or supressed

Sadly, I don't think it is the case, at least not for me.

I get the dark screen when I'm shot at or even damaged in melee, no matter the amount of health I have. It's just weird... and frustrating since it makes it hard to retaliate! *lets out a sigh and drinks more mjod*

Well, at least, today's the 18th, so there's a new update waiting just around the corner!
We'll see if they've fixed some of the more important stuff in it.

I'm hoping that the update today brings about some of those changes. Even on lowest graphic settings (config file set to 1 or 0), the lighting effects are still there. Its a bit better than playing on med-high graphics but with things like the Heavy Bolter you can't see what you're shooting cuz lolwuthugemuzzleflash.

Part of the problem too is the camera angle. Everything is from behind your guy and more in the center of his back than over the shoulder. So you're getting a lot of the muzzle flash right over top of your reticle... which makes shooting heads difficult. :|

And ya, having some changes to being able to see who's who on your team would be nice. The little green arrow is 1) too small 2) can't see it through windows when all you see is a player's legs. So you end up accidentally shooting your team.

Futuristic game, advanced technology, comms and radios, how come they never work in shooter games these days? =.=

Over the shoulder might actually feel much better, even if it's moved just a little.

I posted this before but ya, take a look at the camera angle and how it looks when walking and also when you're zoomed in (aimed down sights):
