What? I like to see what i'm shooting at. I never forced other people to change graphics. For me gameplay will always trump graphics.
The Devs have consistently listened to player feedback throughout the process. Don't know how long you've been following this, but many of us have been here from the beginning. The devs acknowledge that there's a ton of stuff to do and that the game really isn't that balanced right now. The early access portion isn't about having fun in a balanced game. It's about testing stuff out so things can be balanced later. They knew how OP the MoN traitor was for quite a while. They also know how crazy bright stuff is. I'm not as active on the forums as I used to be, but I still see the devs dropping in and keeping us updated. I also think you misinterpret what this game is meant to be because it's been pretty clear throughout the process, even with all the changes. You are not a space marine in a room full of guardsmen. You're in the meat grinder that is Warhammer 40k. You will die over and over. The game has also gotten significantly more team friendly just in a few months. If you wanted to game that functioned exactly how you wanted it to, you should have waited until the game was done. This is for testing and for founders to have a little dialogue with the devs. They read over our stuff and address it in due time in most cases, and sometimes they use those suggestions. They also get thrown a lot of criticism when they do something the community feels is a misstep. You don't really seem like you're willing to contribute anything beside criticism with no sense of context.
Be very careful OP, the forums are not for you to "vent your rage" at the devs. We leave constructive feedback here for them and there are moderators who WILL ban people who are just being negative. (I even saw a forum poster get threatened to have their game refunded to them and not be allowed to purchase another in the future). I'm not saying this to threaten you, I am not a moderator, I'm saying it to look out for you. Rage posts will only get you into trouble.
I mean, we've had plenty of rage posts in the past, and many of them were pretty well justified. The community has definitely had some falling outs with the devs more than once. But, things moved on, and they continued to show that they're trying to make a game for 40k fans. I think the release is getting rush a little too much, but that's just me. I assume that release date wasn't their ideal time.
Btw those doritos are sometimes missing because you only see them when the characters spot them or the enemy is shooting or making noise (e.g. using a jump pack). They will show up on the minimap and get an dorito when sighted and are being shared between you squad members (so run around with your dudes which are blue on the minimap!). Remember you can actively spot an enemy and make the dorito appear for your squad mates when hitting the key for manually spotting or when shooting at the so far unknown target.
Welp that opened a can of worms lol..... was just saying its hard to see the baddies. maybe space marines with awesome hi tech helmets and targeter's should be able to see a bad guy lol
Yeah, I think they choose that release date to avoid the big titles, they can launch in winter but other AAA games will murder it, still it's a bit too soon TBH, I wouldn't mind if they had decided to launch in early 2017. But they look confident with their decision, so I guess I'll wait till at least May to see if they can live up to it or not.
I think that bE might have been better off giving the project a bit more official time to polish the game, early 2017 would have given a good amount of time for solving unforseen problems such as stuff with Unreal engine 4.
