Having spent a lot of time with the thing and only recently downgraded to the standard rokkitlauncher to incorporate the Sparky Slugga as my sidearm, yes - the dead shiny rokkit launcher has a bit more range than the standard model.
When you find the 2x magnification for the shootah, I suggest you install it along with modding for maximum recoil reduction. Really helps making a series of long-ranged snapshots without hitting your allies.
I guess all races but SM suffers about matchmaking. We start most of the games 8vs12, people keeps join, making it 11vs15, and finally ending 20vs20. We orks are outnumbered for 2-5 min of every game, specially vs spacemarines. It needs a fix. We have electrified maces and axes, give us an electric basic chopa with 140 pen, to compete with powerswords. Fix klaw, make it similar as power fist. Extra damages on zap guns vs vehicles, practically no one use them. Remove waaagh on fort defences. On most of the games we lose, we are abused with plasmas, autocannons, grav guns, power swords, power fist... basically all good things we actually lack. Give us something orky and unique.

To just burst fire without regard for accuracy should be an instant fire that is wildly innacurate...at the moment i use the rokkit to destroy a vehicle and immediately suicide becaues besides a medium range tank battle..its more of a hinderance than useful. 4. as far as the rokkit launcha..it is only satifying when it works. It is only funny when it works. Although lore wise its funny if the ork rokkits miss it is infuriating to have no control over something like that AND it was nearly useless vs vehicles in comparison to meltas..until they got nerfed. My biggest gripe about playing Ork? Driving the trukks. Why do they all need to handle like complete $%^&? And- Halftracks should not be able to J-turn. Ever. Do something with the physics, cause damn. It's like driving a bumper car with a whale sitting on the hood.
the grav cannon does major AI damage..better than meltas and storm bolter i imagine must be as near as good
This is defiantly said by someone who doesn't play against them on a regular basis let me enlighten you, if you charge as an ork at a grav gun wielder your slowed and dead , if your a stormboy and you get beamed you lag out go to about 3 FPS then fall out the sky and die , if you in a vehicle its toast. Pistol grav guns I mean seriously try duelling a JPA with one as a side arm he freezes you then bang your dead in one power attack. In the hands of guilds and organised players they completely lock down points from assault by land or air.
Assault by melee maybe. A good cordinated dakka lead bath pretty much wrecks grav though. They cant exactly fight back when diving for cover due to the wall of bullets headed their way.
