Well that's a bit different, because we're talking about daemons made of collective psychic/emotional energy, who also come from an alternate plane of reality, made of the very same energy, so they had to have the artwork reflect that. It might be crazy looking, but it still had a certain grim and bleak aspect to it. I really don't think you can capture that in a stylized/cartoonish game.
But, wait here a second..... THEY NEED TO INCLUDE BOTH A REALISTIC ARTSTYLE AND DEAMONS! Cause if they have a realistic artstyle for deamons, they they have no choice but to make it M rated WHICH LOWERS THE COUNT OF SMALL SHRIEKING KIDS (at least a little)
the game should be as mature and serious as possible if youre to reflect 40k properly... and if possible with as less orky humour as possible too.
Well said Wincent Larsson. Anything that lowers the number of rage quitting, shouting, music playing children gets my vote.
Like the M rating really stops that. The only thing that'll stop them is the fact this isn't a CoD clone, so they won't be interested in it for very long.
