Indeed, your cake expired its best-before date beyond recognition though. One would struggle to tell it apart from a handful of cowdung with candles ontop. On topic, i happen to love realistic art. Details, textures and well placed lightsources/reflections fill my heart with a warmth rivaling the forgefires of Nocturne. Really can't wait for the first pieces the art direction blows our way.
I like realisim aswell. But we need a realism wihtin a certain limit. If it is to high it will be a problem for some PC's to handle it. (the cake may be beyond its best befor date, but most of nurgles followers have lost their sense of taste with the rottening o ftheir tounge... SO it really dosen't matter. )
Yes i certainly agree with that. Performance is and should be the main focus in any game in my opinion.
And also you need to watch out for the followers of Slaanesh as their taste in anything and everything goes to the extreme leading to be warned
