Doesn't work like that at all. Currently since Dbash is completely broken and worthless, you can just fast attack spam. So long as your weapon has higher durability than your opponents. you will win 100% of the time. Currently parrying doesn't give any advantage and only resets the fight, which means the better melee weapon will simply win with fast attack spam as the counter to it does nothing to prevent it. People should stop calling it the melee meta and start calling it the Power Sword Meta
So fitting a durability mod or better yet an impact mod for power swords (if theres one - ill have to check my inv) is ezymode? See, this is why I avoid melee, as sad as that it.
Eh, I find the d-bash works most of the time. Not all the time, sometimes they just keep spamming light attack, but most of the time, especially since gits just mash through face into yours, the headbutt will work.
Orks don't have Power Swords. Anything except a Lifesteal mod in the second slot is a waste of LP The first slot only has damage or penetration and penetration results in higher damage gains against 100 toughness targets. No not really, just go Power Sword with lifesteal and you'll kill literally every ork you run into probably. And if they do dbash you, roll away before it completes to avoid the stun and start another fast attack, the second fast attack will complete before the dbash does and ignore it.
I f+*%#n hate power swords. Unless you attack from behind and manage to luckily ignore their 360 defence auto clang you will lose as an ork, always.
Disagree, i usually butchering those power sword spammers with plain simple chain choppa, when i play ork. The only situations when they win, is when they have a backup attacking me from behind
You guys know that SM sword weapons get free lifesteal like old times right? Dont believe me go roll a chaos raptor preset and watch as the chainsword replenishes Hp.
i rolled a chaos sorcerer and went against orks , I was killing all orks in 2 blows it really was easy mode , I don't make a habit of this I was just checking out the difference. If I'm ork pain boy its 4 hits to kill a player
Yea I've seen the Ork meta shift dramatically to the Chain Choppa since the last patch. I don't like being forced into using only one weapon because the others' are completely non-competitive though. I like to have choice and I like to choose a weapon based on looks more than functionality. Which is why, against all the odds, I'm still using the Klaw, which is practically a free kill for any class that has seen you before you attack.
