Thoughts the the inclusion of these paragons of strength and stealth being included? Easily my favorite Eldar are the Striking Scorpions and they have such a god back story with the Fallen Phoenix and Karandras. Personally I would love too have them in game as their mechanic would work very in what has been put forward. Eldar Harlequins have so many amazing classes, anybody fancy the role of a death Jester or Solitaire?
Striking Scorpions might be included. I think it's more propable than Banshees, since Scorpions aren't restricted to just one gender. Also, there is no we're getting playable Harlequins - as has been discussed in other threads, they are far too random and unpredictable to be seen as a regular, reliable part of the Eldar Warhost - and much less are we getting a Solitaire!
Well having some Striking Scorpions would be great! Would be an efficient class with so much potential! I didn't see the discussions about Harlequins but agree the whole story with them is hard to work with - although I can dream!
being a fan of GW2 mesmers I truly wish Harlequins to be added. Because nothing beats the fun of "YOU SHOT ME WITH A HUGE GUN! Sorry, mate, that was an illusion." trolling As far as I know, there used to be a Harlequin codex back in 2nd edition. They had a ton of Masques, some fun HQs and even troll-tastic special rules. Which is fun. Especially if it's implemented in a troll-tastic way, not just dumb invisibility and sprint...
Striking Scorpions as I have been a fan of there culture and way of life. Also reading Path of the Warrior had something to do with my love for them
I hate to say it but I do not want to see Harlequins as a player accessible character choice. There is no reason to have a number of them running around without it being rather lore breaking. First off they are children of the webway they belong to no craft or exodite world. Secondly they are a traveling troupe of elites they would not stay in one place for long and they are a small force seeing hundreds of them would really wreck the unit in my opinion.
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Howling_Banshee#.UmojrFqrGJ4 Will look up, if I can find that in the (german) army books, but highly doubt I'll find something, that says, that they need to be female - they only need to wear female looking armor.
Will be done with work in ~5-6h, so might take a moment. Would have done that even without being asked Want to know it myself.
"a predominantly female aspect..." - Eldar codex It is Implied that there is some males but they are indeed rare
