Kara'shanwe paused for a moment's thought before replying to Zerelith. "I believe that we should seek the artefact first, so that we may decide where or whether it should be deployed. I am not sure that there are enough of us to make a dent in the Ork numbers, though I suppose we could try to take out key figures. Whatever we do, will rely on our being a small and efficient team. My preference is for the artefact, though, if I am asked; but I will go where I am sent." "My spinners are at the service of the group and I go to do the work of Khaine." As she spoke, the Warp Spider's guns cycled minutely, a nearly silent counterpart to her words. Of course, they did not fire or target anyone - just showed that they were ready. "Until we are ready, I will happily rest, so that I am refreshed for the mission," she said, stepping back half a pace and nodding to the Eldar who would show them to rooms.
Jyn'so rubbed her chin, thinking. "Ork warbands focus on a central figure with the charisma and power to forge them into a cohesive army. If said figure - the Warboss - is removed, then it is a documented fact that his lieutenants will bicker amongst themselves. The entire ork force will dissolve into civil war, reducing their threat in the region." Tapping her finger on her lips and staring at the ceiling, she continued. A civil war amongst the humans," Jyn'so spoke the name with disgust and hatred. "Is most agreeable. The more of that filth that dies, the better. However, if there is something unknown causing the unrest, then it behooves us to ascertain if said unknown is a threat to us. This mission is potentially the most perilous. Humans are extremely xenophobic, and whomever undertakes this mission must be able to move amongst them without detection, must be able to disguise themselves so that they can talk to the humans and try to make sense of their uncivilised babbling." Jyn'so grinned with malice, a flicker of insane rage in her eyes. "I greatly desire to go on this mission. The possibility of causing the deaths of so many of these foul creatures is pleasing to me. However," and here, the grin faded, "my prosthesis bars me from doing so. It would be difficult to disguise, and should I be scanned, the wraithbone may be detected - however unlikely - by their primitive technology. "The last mission," she mused, "Is quite possibly the simplest one. Infiltrate the outpost, determine the nature of this 'artefact', destroy or steal it and then exfiltrate. However, things are rarely that easy. Stealth would be a necessity, as it is likely guarded heavily by either their machine cult, or their inquisition. Both organisations have a large amount of resources, and are much more competent than the rest of the human scum. If whomever infiltrates is detected, a running firefight will be on their hands." Jyn'so nodded to herself. "A challenging mission, with the possibility of causing the deaths of many humans, and retrieving an artefact of value, irritating countless more. If it is agreeable, I shall accept this task. Would anyone care to join me?"
"Such a mass of orks would find a new leader rapidly upon the death of the larger of their number. I believe they require more planning than just a culling." Laeduin said looking at Kara'shanwe. He then looked toward the other who spoke. "My preference is also to infiltrate the research station, as that will be where my own skills are best deployed. I would gladly join you." He smiled before turning to look at the rest of the group to see what other opinions were being held. @Jorimel @Shashi
Hearing Zerleith asking her about her views on what they should do, Kilania replied ( @Vulpas "If you asked me, I feel it would be the rebellion that would be the thing we need to investigate first. After all, Mon'Keigh are known for getting involved in many interesting, and frankly horrifying turn of events. " After a brief pause, the Corsair then said "Still, no matter what's decided, I might as well come along and make sure it doesn't go wrong. Or if it does, at least I'd be around to try smoothing over the matter with this." She then pointedly inspecting her lasblaster, before continuing "Unless of course, words or more primal methods of getting what we want is what's required for the task." Having finished talking, Yathernis then nodded to Firnel as she was ready to see her room, given that she didn't exactly have much to say when it came to what the team did.
"I agree," Kara'shanwe said to Laeduin, "and that is why my preference is not to deal with the Orks. But I will go where we are sent," she reaffirmed, not hostile.
"The mon'keigh are not to be underestimated." He warned the others, his gaze coming upon them rather swiftly. "They are primitives, yes, but they still have some form of cunning to them; far more than the orks. Merely letting a civil war rage on can induce worse results. The problem is to see which side is to be aided; the Dark Enemy may be fueling these rebels, or perhaps it may be manipulating the... 'Loyalists' as it were. We'd need to investigate this carefully, amongst them. "Unless we can find who these leaders are and determine their true loyalties, we are committing to a gamble."
@Shashi Zerleith raised her eye, Slightly the amount of hatred and malice in her voice concerned her and made her wonder if she had a grudge agaisnt the humans likely she did, She innerly wondered if it would get in the way of the mission or cause unneeded unrest among the humans if she went and possibly killed more then what was needed. "May I ask of your rage Jyn'so It seems you have some type of grudge if the way you speak about these mon'keigh gives off any indication? have you had a bad experience with them?" Zerleith asked looking to her with a neutral expression. @Vlayden "Indeed it seems that the artifact and this civil war at both of our top priorities list, maybe it would be wise to split teams with those more suited to diplomacy to one place and those suited with retrieving and destroying with another." Zerelith said calmly. "So who would think it would be best to split our forces into a investigation force for this artifact and this civil war?" Zerlith asked the team around them.
@Fox Jyn'so glanced down at her prosthetic arm, before raising an elegant eyebrow at Zerleith. "Whatever gave you that idea?"
@Shashi Zerelith kept her own neutral expression and tone as she answered Jyn'so. "Your type of tone, The way you want more of them to die then what is needed for this mission, and the malice within your voice and tone is quite easy to detect that you have had some type of past to shape your opinion on these certain mon'keigh." Zerelith tilted her head only for a moment before speaking again. "Your anger and hatred from your voice and want to cause additional deaths then what is needed is only somewhat worrying, for if you let your emotions possibly show or take priority in combat it can be a dangerous combination that could endanger you or others when we walk the path of war and planning. I only say this because I shall take worry for all of us when we walk our paths in this mission since it will not only effect us but many other of our kind as well." Zerleith said her voice neutral on and giving feedback and a answer on Jyn'so.
@Vulpas "They're just humans," Laeduin said in a cold tone to Zerelith, "not to be underestimated of course. But humans." @Shashi He turned toward Jyn'so. "However much they are inferior, do not allow the desire to kill them to risk the missions success. We are required to infilitrate, not to slaughter."
