Despite everything, let's just take solace in the fact the Iron Hands were not completely silenced and without support as others would have wanted in this vote. The Imperial Fists had more backers, people genuinely wanting to see that chapter in this game rather than simply trying to garner votes to deny others the chance to appear in Eternal Crusade. This victory is theirs and they have earned it. However, I want to ask those reading this and any Iron Hands supporters for their opinion on what I am about to suggest. Though I would rather remain neutral in this entirely, I would equally much rather not see a chapter turned into a tool for others or left entirely without support as was seen here. As such, I am suggesting that we create a formal thread to properly discuss this now it won't be actively strangled to death or invaded by others, perhaps even a guild if need be, in order to ensure the chapter is better organised and united than before. Atop of this, I would like to suggest that those who join this cause follow one single rule: No chapter is to be placed or regarded higher than others. Enmity and wrath is to be reserved to backstabbers and traitors, not those who fight at our side, no matter which primarch they follow. Any thoughts?
I see no harm in converging Iron Hand fans into one place/group. Heck if im not mistaken theres a World Eater guild and they arent out. The current Nurgle guild, Heralds of Decay, was started for people who like Nurgle but with the intent of everyone changing to Death Guard once they are released. So you wouldnt be doing anything new or odd, i say go for it.
"Yeah me too" Nathan said during the stream with what Brent said. Which suggests he voted for them too so that's the Senior Producer as well. Of course the team and polls decide still. I like Iron Hands over the other chapters so they'd get my vote again. (though if Salamanders are in a poll with the IH they would win me over as I supported them before the announcement of the choices)
Don't see them having much a chance if Salamanders and/or Raven Guard are on the vote with how this one turned out.
Gonna need to admit, if the Salamanders (Or, one day, those wondrous, insane Templars) appear as a voting options, I have to abandon the sons of Manus. The hands are a strong legion, but...Apologies. clears throat
Well, if you think it's worth it and there are forces like that already forming, then it's certainly worth a try. Thank you for the commendation and citing those sources. The World Eaters example I was aware of, but not those others you suggested. Only on Arkhona. Otherwise, I say that we treat them only as they do us. Not if the likes of Stonewolf have anything to say about it apparently, given his sheer determination to ensure no one votes for the Iron Hands and open dislike for the chapter. That's your choice, you're not going to be mocked or insulted for sticking to the chapter you favour. If there are those you would wish in this game, vote for them over all others no matter what anyone else says or how futile they claim your vote is. Anyway, with that done it sounds as if a true thread and organised effort is worth it. Thank you for the responses and posts.
