Wow, that Dreadnought certainly. Both in colors and head.

  2. Hey, just vote for the chapter you genuinely want to see in this game. That's all i've been urging since this whole thing started.

When Techmarines hopefully come post launch i could think of no better chapter to go along with them then the Iron Hands.

  4. I just hope they add some bionics for other chapters, even if without the buffs (ESPECIALLY without the buffs, else you'd see every player that mains assaults rocking bionics up the wazoo), with Iron Hands having the largest selection.
  5. Really cool insight on the lore - but still voting fists :D
For me their fleet battle against the Iron Warriors and Peturabo (which they lost) sealed my love.

    I love !
The visual rendering is very impressive

You have my vote good sir.

Besides, as an Eldar player I don't want to see too many stealthy space marines (Raven Guard) getting up in my grill! :p
  8. Heh, each to their own then. Though i'll agree, over-saturation of one single playing style or class never tends to benefit any game.

Also, more artwork. Mainly because it's the one of the very few featuring a Techmarine or Iron Father at working on technology rather than killing things -

Isnt this picture from the old days when Iron fathers were Chaplains/Apothecary/Techmarines all rolled in one?
Because i think he is giving his young ( i assume) brother his iron hands!!

  10. More or less. The chapter did, as I recall, still retain Techmarines and Apothecaries but the Iron Fathers took over the role of Chaplain, more often preaching the ways of the Omnissiah rather than anything which could potentially be seen as worshiping the Emperor as a god. Surprisingly there tended to be quite a few of these per clan company, a good four or five in most depictions

Quite right actually, the first initiation bionic was removing one hand and welding a stronger replacement over the dead flesh. This one is probably the first one to earn his armour. Damn shame they got the wrong hand though, it was always supposed to be the left on in the lore.
