The formidable woman would stare down the Sorcerer with her scarred up eye. There was a hint of mistrust that was extremely palpable. Nonetheless, the battle medic would give a polite nod and a gruff greeting.

"Aye. That is what I have heard in my travels regarding this place. I also have heard rumors regarding the superb ale that is served here..."

"Help yourself, Hospitaller." The Dark Angel would gesture with his mug of Fenrisian ale, a smile on his face. As he goes to take a swig, he gives a glance to the Hospitaller, before glancing back to his ale and shaking his head. He took another drink.

The woman would give a soft chuckle and begin to remove the respirator from the lower facemask. Her thin, soft lips were exposed.

"Aye. Thank you, Astartes. Always a pleasure to make the acquaintance of one. Your brothers and you truly have a reputation for being the Emperor's Angels of Death. Some would say you are legend; others have truly seen what an Astartes can do in battle. Oh, forgive me, I did not offer my name to you. It is Amelia."

The woman would hop over the bartop with a large thud before grabbing a glass. She pours herself some ale and begins to savor the taste. She comes back to her seat, carrying the glass in her massive hand.

"I'll just leave some thrones on the damned counter. Would rather serve myself anyway than have a bartender do it."

The Deathwing Terminator perked a brow upon hearing "Amelia", as if it were the name of someone who knew a long time past. He took another swig of his ale. "Veteran Sergeant Samson Sinclaire," he bowed his head politely.

"Mmhm, yes...the Dark Angels stand forefront at the ranks of the Astartes, in spite of their dispassionate ways." The Dark Angel clicked his fingers, somehow, from inside his armour. "They're not what you would call jovial."

"Seems like you're one of the black sheep..." Amelia would comment in her dry, terse way. "...Just like me. We have much in common, Sergeant Sinclaire."

The woman took a long sip of her fresh, cold ale. She set down the glass, turning her head to regard him. Her gaze displayed the truth of a harsh, sobering existence on the battlefield and the personal demons that she wrestled with. However, the emotion that was displayed, was highly controlled and kept under bounds.

"And I imagine they would not be jovial. They are Astartes. They know their duty and they will do it, for they are His Angels; a tool to be used. The Dark Angels have a reputation for being quite secretive and flighty at times. Someone with loose lips must have mentioned something in order for it to get to me down where I work, but if I am not mistaken, wasn't there a time where the Dark Angels left their Alfa Legion allies during a battle?"

Samson gave a sigh, nodding solemnly. "Yes...it is due in part because of their secrecy which landed me in the Alfa Legion in the first place, but I have found a home there, rather than onboard The Rock. It would be worse for me to go back the Dark Angels now," he stated.

"Not all of the Astartes are all so stoic and unflinching, although even they pale in comparison to the likes of the Iron Hands or the Black Templars. Some Chapters are downright boisterous...say, Vika Fenryka. The Wolves of Fenris, tsk." He tapped his mug.

"...I think the most memorable thing I heard from one of their Wolf Guards was, "You don't have as big a stick up your rear as the rest of your Chapter". Aaah, fun times."

"I can imagine that there are politics even within the Astartes..." Amelia would give a rough chuckle before swallowing more of the ale. Her drink was half-finished already and she didn't seem to be affected by it.

"Quite interesting. The Vlka Fenryka sound like they make for an intriguing ally, if they can conjure up jeers to describe other Chapters."

The Dark Angel chuckled, a grin forming on his face. "Oh, indeed they are, and they had quite the influence on the Alfa Legion in times past," he remarked. "Despite their eccentricities, they're utterly fierce allies, in melee especially. You'd do well not to incur their wrath."

"Though, a special mention is reserved for the Dark Angels. There was a squabble quite a long time ago with the respective Primarchs of both Chapters, Lion El'Jonson, and Leman Russ. They were bringing down a planet one sunny afternoon and Russ was insulted by the planet's rebels, swearing vengeance on the ringleader who had stained his honour. However, Lion got to the kill first and the two Primarchs began fighting for a day and night. From there on in, the rest is history, and the two eventually reconciled. Nowadays, whenever Dark Angels and Space Wolves meet, honour duels are held in remembrance of the event."

Amelia had taken another great swallow of her ale. About a quarter was left in her glass. She set the glass back down and listened to Sergeant Sinclaire tell the story of the ritualized combat between the two Chapters. Her eyebrow raised slightly.

"Mmm. That is quite interesting indeed. The Alfa Legionnaire Astartes are often seen as leaders and heroes among the inhabitants of Swedesia. Your service is appreciated, Sergeant Sinclaire."
