The store prices definitely seem rather high for a game that we're going to pay to play in the first place. There isn't a single thing on the page less than $5, most things are between $10-$30 and I see some as high as $35. There are whole games that cost less than that! I think Be might want to grab a dictionary and look up what the "micro" part of "microtransactions" means. Also, the exchange rate between $ and RTP is kind of silly considering they never actually use those extra zeroes at the end. That's just pinball points BS. Honestly, unless you plan to eventually release something that can be bought in increments of 5 RTP or less ( half a cent at the current exchange rate), there is no point to having a 1:1,000 exchange rate. Just do a 1:1 rate, and list things that are under 1,000 RTP with decimal places. In other words, just make it the dollar price and save everybody the hassle. Also, I'm somewhat disappointed that the cash shop currency didn't end up being Thrones.
i belive the reason for thos weapons cost so much is because they wanted to add rare pre heresy weapons, and GW said they had to limit them to keep them rare...soo i guess this was one of there way to keep them rare?...honestly not sure... perhaps we had negotiate with the devs to reduces the price? It could also be the publisher doing.... never now Edit: well only citizens of the imperil use thrones...
Yea I feel this may have a major backlash when the game goes live and a huge wave of players from other shooters start rolling in. On one hand, they will have people arguing the prices are way too high for getting a boltgun without any significant advantage compared to a regular bolter. On the other, people will still be complaining that they paid $35 bucks for what? a cool rare reskin, make it cheaper yada yada yada.
Well the 35$ weapon skins do come with 35000 pts, so there is some value with the price tag, but it's not like you can buy the weapons separately so you still have to make a huge purchase. The package is what's so weird, and it's a bad indication of what's to come.
a bit strange the whole (monthly points) thing is even an option to be purchased...cuz you know.. theres no game lol. Though the item prices...outrageous But I remember in one of the video interviews miguel wanted to make sure the people that bought them weren't feeling cheated out of their money, and the people getting killed by them dont feel like they bought power. How will they pull it off? fk if I know. Its like they read the forums JUST far enough to see a few "Take my money" post. Then left lol
They must have some pretty scary people keeping them from doing so. But all Dorn chapter could technically use an Emperor's Champion. And they all have black armor, right? Not what you want but it might still be kind of cool if Dorn chapters make it. I am very surprised at how expensive this stuff is.
Lookswise the Pay Guns in the Foudners Shop look the same as every other weapon, the design isnt bold and doesnt pop. Noone will notice the minor cosmetic differences in game, just like in Payday 2 noone bothers to look at anyones mask. The whole idea that something digital and not physical can sell out is cray cray.
